I love these vets. Everytime I vist with Edward my 🐈, I always feel happy with the service they provide for him. Nothing is too much trouble. The receptionists are extremely thoughtful and supportive. They always make sure Edward is comfortable while being stressed in his carrier. You can tell they love animals. I turned up on the wrong day (supposed to be next Friday) yet instead of sending us home, they managed to fit us in. I can't express how grateful I am for just that alone because he hates the whole process of getting in the carrier, nevermind seeing a vet. Thank you so much Axe Valley staff. You guys are blooming amazing 👏🏾 🤩

My cat was in pain in the last few months of her life confirmed by emergency vets in portishead. Very dismissive vetinary practitioner at Axe Valley who stated : " it was debatable if she was in pain or not " Given we had visits to the vets often due to her shoulder. Who do I believe? A vet who saw her once a month for say ten minutes or an emergency vet nurse who was with her throughout her care? Asking me if she had pain relief for her shoulder as it was causing her pain. I responded no as my local vet that she was registered with said she wasn't in any pain. The nurse said to me that she was and got some medicine on board to at least ease her suffering. My beautiful cat was PTS two days later with an unrelated unknown illness possibly either autoimmune or cancer. I cannot thank the emergency team enough for what they did that my local registered practice could not. It's taken me years to be able to write a review as I was riddled with guilt thinking how I could have asked for a second opinion but did not. We as owners trust that the care provided by the vetinary teams hoping they will always do their best to provide the best level of care for our animals. In this case , I feel she suffered. If I ever get another pet, I will be taking my animal to another practice.

We love our vets, it's our girls favourite place. The receptionists are so wonderful to her when she comes in, it's really made a difference from our last vet because she's so over excited everyone used to fuck and hide when they would see us coming! But the lovely girls here have made this her favourite place now. She recently had her spay too which was professional, clean and they took care of her so well, not even the spay traumatised her. Might sound like I'm bluffing but Elara really does love the vets 😂 Bless you all and thank you for your service! Pet health club is so worth the monthly subscription! Reccomend it to anyone ☺️ I don't have any pictures of her actually in the vet but this is her 15 days after her surgery and happy as Larry. Wonderful job 🥰

Have been here for years, in fact since this was called clarendons vets, the receptionists know my dog Mei-mei on sight and I've always received a warm welcome. Can't fault them in any way, the service and staff are wonderful, always helpful and willing to answer questions. Thanks for years of great care.

A really caring practice where the staff work hard to help your pets feel at ease. Always pleased to see you and the vets are very knowledgeable. The Weston branch has lately had a lot of renovations to make it a pleasure to visit.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t thank this clinic enough. The team here are not only incredibly skilled with animals, but they truly understand how to care for people too. Their kindness, honesty, and professionalism during one of the hardest moments for our family meant the world to us. They took care of our cat with compassion and respect, explained everything clearly, and supported us every step of the way. I have never met such dedicated professionals. Highly recommended to anyone who wants their pet to be treated with genuine love and expertise.

Today I made an appointment to attend your Vets Practice in Clarendon Road, Weston-super-Mare for a vets consultation with our new puppy. On arrival there were 2 girls behind the reception desk and 2 in the waiting area. They all had a look at our pupply and asked questions about him, how old, what breed etc. All appeared very friendly. We were then shown into a consulting room with Rebecca to have our consultation. We gave as much information as we could about Patch and said that we had brought him in for a full check up due to the fact that the mum had stopped feeding him and that he was the runt of the litter and considerably smaller than the others who had been attacking him. Rebecca then weighed him, 1kg and cuddled him. She looked in his mouth and smoothed him. She then said that she did not know when he would be able to have his vaccinations or worming and flea treatment etc, which was when our concerns began. She then told us that she would have to look it all up on google, not something I would expect from an established practice or vet. She then told us that he could have one at 6 weeks and one and 10 weeks, but the worming could be given now. Our concerns got worse when she then told us that she only had sachets for dogs of 4 kg and didn't know how to work it out. We then went out to reception area where Rebecca told the receptionist that she only had sachets for 4kg dogs and didn't know how to work it out. The receptionist then went on google and showed us a picture of the item in a paste form and said that we could get it at Vets at Home. At this point my son was feeling quite frustrated and ready to walk out. I was then asked to pay for the consultation, £64.50! I was totally gobsmacked and asked her what the charge was for. The receptionist told me that it was the standard price for a consultation. Had we have received a full and proper consultation from a qualified Vet, Surgeon, or even Nurse and the puppy had received a full and through check up I could have accepted and understood the cost, but to be charged £64.50 for a 10 minute consultation, where at least 4 of those minutes was us giving information and showing Rebecca a video of the other pups and at least 4 minutes of Rebecca searching google, leaving just 2 minutes for the examination of Patch, I find totally unacceptable.
