We have seen maybe 4 different vets across our 2 dogs. Every one has been fantastic. Really thorough investigation, proactive, listened to our concerns, and provided actionable advice. We are particularly grateful to vet Rob for alternative suggestions on medications/treatment for one of our dogs, who has chronic allergies, which have made a huge difference to her comfort. I highly recommend Vale Vets Portishead!

They looked after our beautiful Fudge till the end and was brilliant at finding the owners of a little stray that visits us. Always caring with separate waiting areas for cats. Staff are amazing and on site parking.

We had to come to Vale vets out of hours last week due to our dog Buddy being unwell. They got us in quickly. The vet was very transparent, gave us all possible outcomes and time to think about what we wanted to do without feeling hurried. We decided it was in our dogs best interest to let him go with some dignity and not let him suffer on. We were so grateful that they waived the emergency fee for us due to it being a straightforward consultation. We received Buddy’s paw prints today along with a little card and some sunflower seeds. Such a thoughtful touch- thank you!

Vale Vets accidentally booked an appointment at the wrong time, delaying our dog's care for a week with no apology. They also failed to advise the cost of checking a small scratch on his ear, which turned out to be £70. Having used them for over 8 years, it's fair to say that this vet's service has been severely disappointing lately.

The initial communication for emergency out of hours was reassuring and calm. All the veterinary team were very friendly. The vet we saw was brilliant, we did not feel hurried through the consultation at all. She clarified all the information given which was great as under these circumstances as you can feel all over the place! Thankyou to everyone we saw for Polo.

Absolutely brilliant the care from vets nurses and reception staff is 1st rate. My dog had an emergency op and was in the Vale for 5 days and was looked after so well thankyou to everyone who had a part to play caring for Silas

My Border Collie x Labrador has vet anxiety and won’t allow anyone to touch her for her vaccination injection, so she needs to be sedated. The team at Vale Vets are brilliant - thank you for handling her with such sensitivity and patience, making our visits as calm and stress-free as possible - for her and me!

We have been with Vale vets since they started up in portishead. We always found them to be very helpful, realy good with all our dog. And are genuine caring wen we have sadly lost them Our dogs love a visit to the vets , which is very helpful for us. We have always had large breeds so helps that they are confident and relaxed about going. And we would like this chance to thank them all for everything they have done to keep our dogs happy and healthy.
