The practice is open six days a week, with extended hours to better serve its clients. On weekdays, the practice is open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Saturdays, clients can visit from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. On Sundays, the practice is open from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

At Watkins and Tasker, the team is made up of highly qualified veterinary surgeons and nurses. The practice has a team of 5 veterinary surgeons on staff, led by Mr. Stephen Tasker, who holds a BVSc MRCVS. The veterinary team also includes Dr. Amy Bowler, Dr. Hannah Darbey, Mrs. Katy Duncan, and Miss Elizabeth Bennett, who holds a VetMB MA MRCVS.

The veterinary nurses at Watkins and Tasker are just as skilled and caring. Head Nurse Mrs. Claire Walkley and her team of three fully qualified RVNs provide hands-on care to every animal. Miss Carol Avenell, Miss Nicola Flowers, and Miss Eleonora Newbigging-Gooderham complete the exceptional veterinary nursing team.
