The practice is run by Dr Robert White-Adams, who is the director of Companion Care. Avoid at all costs. If I could give less then a 1 star I would and a formal complaint will be followed… if you love your pet do not take them to this place! Our 10 year old Labrador had to be put to sleep as they gave us no other options then to put him down as he was in pain. No scans, no blood tests. Nothing other than a feel of his body. To say the process was smooth is a complete understatement and was the most traumatic thing I have ever had to do in my life. The room was small for 4 adults and a dog. We could hear constant barking of other dogs whilst we were there loosing our best friend. And a process which should have taken 20 mins took over an hour and a half due to incompetent staff. The last thing I remember of my boy was being pinned down and was screaming because the ‘vets’ simply couldn’t sedate him first before trying to put a cannula in him. A dog which walked in there wagging his tail, out of breathe from excitement and just wanted cuddles of course he wasn’t going to take a cannula lightly !! A heartbreaking process was made 10 times more difficult due to the incompetence of the staff. To also keep hearing one of the vets call my dog ‘buddy’ and bear was also really annoying. He’s got a name, use it. There only in it for the money and of course had to ‘pay in full on the day’ … on the day you put your dog to sleep you have to leave the room to hand over money. Disgusting … do not take your fur babies here. They deserve so much more especially in the moment we will remember forever.

I would like to warn everyone who wants to use Companion Care. It's the worst vet I've ever dealt with. Zero support and care, poor communication. I lost my beloved dog and received no support. Vets are very unprofessional and lack compassion. Three years ago, we almost lost our dog because of the same vet, but this time we couldn't save him because it was too late. I was the one who insisted on a blood test. It's the worst vet, please don't go there. The only people with a heart are the ladies at the front desk, who are very helpful.

Worst vets! Do not use do not go! Absolutely shocking care and no help from a very rude manager! I can't give less then 1 star. Lies after lies. No phone call back just a horrible nasty email from the manager. Avoid at all cost! Don't normally write reviews but had to warn people.

Avoid at all costs, they’ve consistently misdiagnosed our dog illness over a period of 3 months, resulting in the unexpected death of our beautiful dog today. Heartbroken and so angry at there neglect. Please, do not use this vet, they don’t care about them just another number and invoice.

I'm not one for writing reviews unless I am blown away by something!! With pets at home companion care in Weston super mare the team have done just that! My beloved buster had a tumor on his Paw and the team have done nothing but give him the best and treat buster as one of there own, he has had nothing but the best from this team and have been very clear and honest what buster would need from the start, they have not tried to sell me any extras that buster might not need, they have just hands down given him the best and for that I have my boy back and on the mend, so thank you so so much I must also add that my lovely Lab Archie unfortunately had to be put to sleep at the same vets and when he lost the use of his back legs the team was waiting for him with a dog stretcher at the back entrance so me and Archie did not have to go through the distress of going through the main entrance when he was in such a bad way, as sad as it was to lose Archie that day the team went above and beyond that day and helped make a heart breaking time the tiny bit better, I can not thank them enough for the care they have given buster and the late Archie and I truly believe they have had nothing but the best from this team Thank you for everything you have done Chris,Tony and most importantly Buster🐾
