A very caring and considerate veterinarian practice. Highly recommended. My German shepherd dog has been coming here for 8 years and all through the years including the difficult covid period they have been nothing short of magnificent.

If you’ve ever wondered what a veterinary clinic looks like when commercial talent confidently outweighs medical knowledge — welcome. The examination of your pet here seems to be a mere formality before the main event: reviewing the list of paid procedures. Basic diagnostic questions appear to cause confusion, yet additional tests and “urgent” services are offered with remarkable confidence. One can’t help but feel that a pet owner’s anxiety is viewed as a resource to be efficiently converted into a bill. The information changes depending on who delivers it, giving the impression that internal consistency simply doesn’t exist. Any sense of professional reliability is entirely absent, though the price list, apparently, is known by heart. A special attraction is the reception desk. If you’ve ever wanted to test the limits of rudeness disguised as busyness and a “professional” tone, you’ll receive the full experience here. Customer orientation is likely listed under optional services and, judging by the experience, not included in the standard package. It’s deeply unfortunate that a place meant to help animals instead feels like a service sales point with medical décor. I sincerely hope that one day the priorities shift toward competence and genuine care, rather than revenue.

🔴 DONT GO HERE !!!!! 🔴 If I could give this vets minus I would. Please don’t take your animals here. We signed up to a care plan as our dog wasnt right and needed seeing to, we previously had a care plan with our prior vets4pets in Yeovil and they were fantastic. From the moment we went in there it felt like a money making situation with no actual care for the animals. We had said care plan and paid £70+ for a urine sample but a blood test on the plan was £45. How is a blood test cheaper than a urine test. We asked what it would be to cancel as we had only been signed up to the care plan one day. They advised us it would be £60 to cancel. I would have assumed there was a cooling off period. PLEASE IF THIS IS A WARNING DONT GO HERE !!!! We had a receptionist standing over us trying to be intimidating, she even said I won’t stand over you and make you feel intimidated the fact she said this sent off alarm bells. Also when said receptionist came over my dog was absolutely terrified and shaking. Never again will I ever go to a vets4pets which is a shame as our last ones were amazing. We have signed up with a new vets in Hadleigh who seem to genuinely care about the animals. We paid £80 yesterday for nothing just so we could walk away. This is a money making scheme. We didn’t even really get an in depth result from her urine sample. We also didn’t get a receipt for anything we had. Appalling service , communication.

Looked after my big boy Obi in life. I can't praise them enough for their help in his sudden death. Took paw prints and hair for me to keep. Sent handwritten card. Received his ashes back with individual cremation assurance certificate. If I get to love another furry family member, I would 100% go back there.

Absolutely disgraceful…. My wife brought our pet rat in for weight loss. Was told that he had a mass in his stomach area. It was decided that he should be put to sleep to stop the suffering etc.. my wife was left with our pet so she could say good bye etc and literally 60 seconds later the receptionist came in and asked for payment before they could do anything…. You’re joking 😠. My wife paid £174 and they just brought his body out and she left… nobody even looked at her as she left…. We queried the bill and was over charged £35 for things that hadn’t been done. Vets for pets only interested in your money… nothing else. We have put our other pets on the books of another vets and will never go near this lot again…. I suggest if you want to be treated like a human which ever pet you have go elsewhere. If I could have given these no stars then I would have

Had a really good experience with vets4pets at Hanford rd. The receptionist I have dealt with is very efficient (not sure of her name, dark hair tattoos, maybe polish?? I'm guessing 😊) , and the vet was really good (Mateusz). Helped my dog that has been experiencing rheumatology problems, options completely explained and felt I was listened to. Very appreciated, thanks 👍🏻.
