Always the friendliest staff you could ask for and they always take great care of our cats whenever they see them. Fast responses to any questions we ask on WhatsApp. We couldn’t ask for a better vet.

I’m absolutely thrilled to have found this veterinary clinic. All the staff have been so friendly and helpful, making the entire experience stress-free. Tim, the vet, was particularly amazing—very skilled and compassionate. He recommended the best possible care for my beloved dog, and the surgery he performed was brilliant. I’m so impressed with the level of expertise and the care shown throughout the process. What really stood out to me was the free aftercare they offer, which is truly above and beyond. It’s not something you see everywhere, and it shows their commitment to the well-being of their patients. I also want to mention one of the receptionists (I didn’t catch her name), but she was so kind and reassuring. After I dropped my dog off for surgery, I said, “I’ll hopefully see you soon to her,” and she responded with a firm, reassuring “We will see you soon.” That small gesture made such a difference to my peace of mind during a difficult time. The clinic is also very reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise. I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful place to care for my pet, and I’ll definitely be returning for any future needs. Highly recommend!

In the early hours of a Sunday morning in April 2024 my dear boy Thomas was taken very ill, put onto a drip and given a blood transfusion. I was preparing myself that I might never see him again. However ,3 days later he was well enough to come back to me. He has since been under the care of Dr Tim Gamston who has been treating Thomas with his various 'elderly dog' ailments as he nears his 16th birthday, tailoring each treatment specifically to Thomas's needs and dealing with my concerns whilst being kind and patient. I also cannot fault the Admin team who have responded sympathetically, efficiently and promptly to my phone calls and questions I have put through on the Pets App. Sometimes having to get us an appointment at short notice. I feel that Thomas is receiving the best care possible whilst I have been supported too. Thank you to the whole team.

Roxy, our Bengal cat, had always gone to Ryder-Davies vets for her 15+years for her annual checks, vaccines and occasional infections and we were always very happy with the vets, equipment and service. More recently she was diagnosed with Kidney disease and then very sadly had to be pts. Rider-Davies vets and reception staff were amazing throughout this whole process. Very supportive and compassionate and for that we can’t thank them and highly rate them enough.

Ryder Davies were great with my rabbit for his castration. He was home a few hours later hopping about like nothing had happened! They gave him a painkiller injection before he came home, and checked he was eating and active. He was prescribed oral painkiller medicine for the next 3 days, and they vet / nurses had helpfully pre-measured the dose in 3 separate syringes to save confusion. They also gave a sachet of electrolyte and vitamin powder for his water called Biolapis, to aid recovery (which sounded good but my rabbit wouldn’t drink it so I gave up on that and changed him back to plain water!) On top of that they also gave him a little MOT whilst he was sedated, by clipping his claws and checking his teeth. The price was comparable to other vets in the area and in the end the price I paid was a little less than their quote. Having spent a while researching rabbit vets in Ipswich I was happy to have used Ryder Davies and would recommend to others for castration and use as a first opinion vet.

After previously trying 2 other Ipswich vets and being let down, we were very pleased with Ryder Davies. They are very friendly and the vet was very thorough with our dogs examination and quick to refer him for specialist tests. I felt our precious dog was in good hands.
