About
Welcome to Larkmead Veterinary Group - a friendly and reliable veterinary practice based in the picturesque county of Oxfordshire, England. At Larkmead, we understand that every pet is unique, and so we strive to provide a personalised and tailored service to meet the specific needs of each and every one of our animal patients.
Located in the charming town of Didcot, our clinic is easily accessible and conveniently located for pet owners living in and around the area. Our opening hours are from 8:30am to 6:00pm on weekdays, and from 8:30am to 4:00pm on Saturdays. We may be closed on Sundays, but rest assured that our team of veterinary professionals remains always on call in case of emergencies.
Our veterinary department is led by two experienced directors - Mr Timothy Hutchinson BVSc CertSAS MRCVS and Miss Sarah Packman BVSc CertSAM MRCVS. Both directors have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of veterinary medicine, and are committed to providing outstanding care and attention to every pet that comes through our doors. They are ably assisted by associate veterinarian Mrs Sally Hutchinson BVSc MRCVS, who shares the same passion for animal welfare and ensures that every pet receives the highest quality of care.
At Larkmead, we have a dedicated team of veterinary assistants and technicians who work alongside our veterinary surgeons to provide a wide range of services, including preventive medicine, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, surgery and much more. We also have advanced practitioners on board who have undergone additional training and qualifications in specific areas of veterinary medicine, such as cardiology, dermatology and ophthalmology.
Our facilities are designed with the comfort and safety of our animal patients in mind. We have disabled public access and are open at weekends, meaning that pet owners can always get in touch with us at a time that suits them best. Our clinic is well-equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and technology, which allows us to provide top-quality veterinary care to our patients.
We treat a wide range of small animals at our practice, including cats, dogs, birds, exotic animals, wildlife, poultry and small mammals. Our team has extensive experience in managing various health conditions and diseases, and working with pet owners to develop bespoke treatment plans that meet their needs.
As a community-focused veterinary practice, we value open communication and collaboration with pet owners. We take the time to listen to your concerns and understand your pet’s unique situation, so that we can provide the best possible care to them. We believe that when it comes to veterinary medicine, prevention is better than cure - which is why we emphasise the importance of regular check-ups and preventive care measures to maintain your pet’s good health.
At Larkmead Veterinary Group, we are passionate about animal health and welfare. We are dedicated to providing the highest standard of veterinary care to our patients, and we look forward to welcoming you and your pet to our practice. Feel free to explore our website to learn more about us, our services, and our team - and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
