PLEASE DON’T USE THIS VETS. If I could leave no stars I would, devastated doesn’t even begin to cover it. We’ve been with the surgery for 3 years since we got our cat and never really had a problem. We’d been away and when we came back he had a nasty lump form on his shoulder, took him straight in they were great, they drained it and patched him up, brilliant. Then it came back, took him in again, they told us it’s best not to drain it as it can cause more issues and if it’s not causing him any pain to just leave it. Three years down the line and now they tell me as it’s been left untreated for so long they may need to amputate. They have made me feel like a terrible pet owner they’ve put my cat through a terrible ordeal for nothing. We have now moved vets who have been so understanding and kind and have my cats best interest at heart rather than just taking my money and leaving my boy in a state. I’ve spoken to multiple people about the awful treatment at this surgery as we are not the only ones. I just hope my cat can get the treatment he now needs and it’s not too late.

We cannot be more grateful to Clifton Villa vet’s and their partner Mi Night Vet’s. Ruth and Frankie and the team were nothing short of amazing with our severely epileptic spaniel Brody over the weekend of 7/8th March 26. Not only did they provide him with the very best of care but they kept us regularity updated and even sent us a photo of him and a reassuring message as they knew we were very concerned. Well done guys, you are at the top of your game. 👌🏻 Mark, Nikki and Brody 🐾

The nicest vet I have ever met. I recently took my frenchie girl, Coco to Clifton Villa vets and have never met such a lovely, welcoming and empathic vet. Pru Harvey, the Head Vetinerary Surgeon, I am just in awe of, she is so kind and so professional and I felt completely confident and safe in her care. My dog was looked after to the highest level of care by all her team at Truro and Newquay where my dog had her surgery. From every single one of all the super lovely and empathic ladies on reception in both Truro and Newquay , to both Ruth, Pru and all the lovely Vetinerary nurses, even the lovely lady who blew me a kiss when I was leaving my dog to be admitted, a massive thank you. You have a fantastic team here, Pru, I cannot thank you all enough. I came across from enduring a horrific experience at CVets, as you know, who treated me awfully and missed hugely important things that were wrong with my dog and I can honestly say, I would never use any other vets since coming here. Thank you so much to you all 🐾❤️xxx

My 9 year old Black Rescue Cat Lucky and I have been working with Gemma (Veterinary Nurse) since January 2025 at the Weight Clinic. She is an absolute Star 🌟 she has gone over and above, doing research and emails for us. Each time we see Gemma, she is full of encouragement and always has time to answer any questions. Lucky still has a kilo or so to lose, but with her encouragement we will get there. She is also always happy to answer questions about our other animals. A big thank you Gemma.

Just leaving a review after our positive experience today. The reception staff were helpful and friendly and the vet we saw (Allison) was clearly extremely knowledgeable and very gentle handling our guinea pig, Rocky. She talked us through his thorough examination and laid out the treatment options for his care as well as the pros and cons. We left feeling very reassured by the consultation and would definitely return in future. We also found the price of the visit and meds to be very reasonable.

Clifton villa vets thank you so much for saving the life of our amazing dog poppy 🥰 Poppy was stung by a wasp 🐝 today and her face swelled and she had hives all over her body… I forgot my name where I lived and became a crying mess… the receptionist was so lovely and sat with me gave me tissues and stroked my dog poppy. The vet was incredible and gave poppy adrenaline etc…. I was seen almost instantly. Poppy means the absolute world to us I can not thank you enough for saving her life 🥰🥰 thank you so much for the lovely kind receptionist that was very kind and helped calm me down. Can not recommend villa vets enough.
