Friendly and understanding! I'm here as a visitor and our dog suffers from seasonal allergies, which he gets treated for yearly, however, this year he has has reacted early (day 2 of our break) he was in a terrible way... called up and they squeezed us in the same day and treated him. The our dog ate a slug (day 5 of our break)... our vets were being awkward regarding sending a wormer in a post, called these and again sorted us straight out. THANKS

Got to say a big thanks to the team for the last minute help with our old Tom cat Dallas. He got in a fight with a younger cat and was limping badly. He then disappeared for most of a day. When he eventually turned up at around 4pm I called Cowal vets who told me to just rush him over. After a brief exam he got a shot of antibiotics and a shot of pain killers. Next day he’s already much happier, limping less and nearly back to his old self. Brilliant!

Took our sick dog to Cowal vets & within a few minutes of the vet seeing her they picked up on a Pyometra infection & took her straight for surgery. The whole process was very professionally dealt with & the care & attention they showed to our dog & ourselves was outstanding. They did indeed save our dogs life & now she’s back to full recovery & full of life. Highly recommended vet.

My 10 week old puppy hurt her legs. I phoned the vets she got seen straight away. She got sedated, morphine and calpol and x-rayed. Thankfully there was nothing to see on the x-ray and she was sent home and i was told to bring her in the next day at 9am to see how she was. When we returned the vet checked her over and decided to give a prescription of painkillers and I was told to take her back if it doesn't get better in the next few days. It's already getting better. Fantastic staff and vets. Reasonably priced too.

Had to attend as emergency while holidaying in area due to senior dog taking turns for worse. Vet very thorough, gentle and professional. Gave exact same opinion and recommendation as own vet when previously occured. Showed compassion and respect as we initially thought the end had come.

Each visit my pup has to the vet there's always a different person to see him, the latest visit was a fast visit as the veteran did not seem very happy to be present and I felt the reception desk staff was actually more interested and helpful with my questions... After paying a hefty amount for it too im not impressed or sure to return for future treatment

Not a great experience at this vet whilst staying on holiday in the area, very wrong diagnosis (missed a mouth tumour) ended up paying for antibiotics I didn’t need, very inexperienced vet. Hounded me for months for an admin charge to fill in an online insurance task despite agreeing to not charge Id say avoid at all costs but there’s no alternative in the area so no choice
