About

Welcome to Abbey Veterinary Group, a friendly and dedicated veterinary practice based in the beautiful town of Greenock, Inverclyde, Scotland. Our compassionate and experienced team cares for a wide range of species, including aquatics, birds, camelids, cats, cattle, dogs, equines, exotics, wild, pigs, poultry, sheep, goats, and small mammals. At Abbey Veterinary Group, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality veterinary care, making sure that your cherished pets and animals are in the best possible hands.

Our team of veterinary surgeons is led by partners Mr William Galloway, Mr William McIntosh, and Miss Beverley Naismith, all holding BVM&S MRCVS qualifications, ensuring expert care for your animals. They are supported by consultants Mr Michael Evans and Dr Michal Radawiec, who are also MRCVS qualified, providing a wealth of knowledge and experience in various fields of veterinary medicine.

At Abbey Veterinary Group, we have a dedicated team of veterinary nurses, led by head nurses Mrs Alison Greer and Miss Denise Symon, both holding RVN qualifications. They are supported by Miss Sarah Burke, Ms Kelly Cadman, and Mrs Lynne Dickov, who hold RVN or DipAVN (small animal) qualifications. Our team of advanced practitioners, with specialised skills, complements our veterinary healthcare provision and ensures that we can offer comprehensive care to all species.

Our practice is open six days a week, with hours from 08:30 to 18:30, Monday through Friday, and 08:30 to 14:30 on Saturdays. While we are closed on Sundays, our team remains committed to providing emergency care whenever it is needed. With our convenient location in Greenock, we have ample client car parking available and are proud to offer disabled public access to our practice.

As part of our commitment to providing the best possible care for your animals, we have a range of facilities available, including access to advanced practitioners and support from our dedicated team members.
