First visit, small white chihuahua with desperate allergies, hates being handled by strangers. The vet put a spell on him, so gentle and very helpful to me. We left with a dog with no ear itch, calm, got sound advice and meds that worked and money saved. Better than my local vet in leeds. The ladies in the surgury made you feel at ease, where helpful and played a great part in the very gentle caring proffessional service I received.

I highly recommend Brock and Collier Vets (both Troon and Irvine) in my experience. Each time I have been there the staff have been warm, welcoming and happy to accomodate you where possible. From reception to vets- they are obvious animal lovers themselves. One day I had to request a quite urgent appointment for my dog, and they were very efficient in arranging a timely appointment and providing excellent care as well as reassurance. Special mention to Vet Aleksandra - who has assisted us with arranging a complicated relocation for our dog overseas. Aleksandra is thorough, and careful and her care is very much appreciated. If you are looking for a vet for your beloved pet- I can highly recommend Brock and Collier in my experience. Thank you for all of your care!

As always the vet and all staff were delightful and efficient. The new waiting area is dreadful, only 3 chairs, what appears to be a second, redundant, reception desk and the scales on the far side of the waiting area; beside the door worked very well, out of the melee and easy to weigh the dog without having to fend off other dogs. When we arrived there were 3 or 4 dogs with accompanying owners, all standing, a nurse chatting and child in a push chair, and nowhere to sit. The noise was cacophonous. I was within a whisker of leaving when Clara was called, right on time. Mackenzie, was warm, welcoming and checked Clara thoroughly, answered a couple of questions comprehensively and succinctly. We have been clients of this practice for more than 50 years but Friday’s chaotic experience nearly drove me elsewhere. Please sort out your waiting area, whoever designed it appears to have no idea or experience of waiting with a dog, not a cat or rabbit in a box, but a dog on a lead desperate to have a romp with every other dog in the room, there is insufficient room to sit separately and tuck your dog in beside you as you wait. We were taken on time yesterday but had there been an emergency or a very sick animal ahead of us which very sadly does happen occasionally, increasing waiting time, we would have waited in the street. Please revisit your old waiting area and revise what’s replaced it. Yesterday we had to run the gauntlet of two golden retrievers, one spaniel, one smallish dog, all with standing owners, one push chair and toddler, and a vet nurse just to reach the scales and the reception desk. And the computer system seems slow, it took an inordinately long time to pay, all the while trying to rein in my 2year old bouncy lab who thought we’d come on a play date. Of course I won’t go elsewhere, you’ve looked after our dogs, cats and ducks for decades, but next time I will bring a folding chair and wait outside.

I can’t speak highly enough of the Collier & Brock team. Our cat unfortunately became quite unwell last month, which eventually led to making the hard decision to put him to sleep. Everyone went above and beyond for us and Ollie during such a difficult time, helping us with medication and squeezing us in for so many last minute appointments. They even took the time to send us a card in the post after his passing, so thoughtful. The care, compassion and kindness we received will always stay with me. Thank you for everything.
