I took my dog Willow in for her 6 monthly check up as she is with PetPlan. We met Janice, Willow loves going in, but once she clocks what’s happening she’s instantly nervous. The receptionists were so friendly and welcoming to her. Nurse Janice called her through and quickly made Willow relax and her attention and consideration to Willows nervousness was second to none. To the point where she was relaxed enough to go and lie down while we chatted.

Staff are always so friendly and helpful. Staff take time to discuss any issues and let you know what the best solution is. They also have shown us things to buy online that's cheaper than the vet prices. Would definitely recommend this vet.

I have had a Pet Care Plan with this surgery for my dogs. I have recently had to cancel due to increase in the costs. Plan cost increases every year. I contacted the company that gives cover who cancelled plan as requested and stated it would not be renewed for the next year and plan would still cover pet until end of March. We then received appointment from surgery for normal check up and immunisations. We have then be told we need to pay for treatment because plan was cancelled. We stated that Pet plan stated cover was still applicable until end of the month. What have I paid the Care Plan for? Nothing that what. I’m extremely angry and frustrated. I have sent feed back requesting refund. Which will probably never happen. Customers please do not take Pet Care Plans. How can vets get away robbing customers this way year after year!! Vets do give us an invaluable service for our family pets but regulations need to be put in place to stop them charging us exactly what they want, holding us ransom to keep our pets healthy and safe. Practice Manager please contact me with response!!!

Prices have gone up drastically over the years. Paid 120£ for a minor medical issue on my dog (fair as it included medicines) but at the 1 week check-up (which was a 30 second appointment of them telling me my dog is so cute and looks fine again) they charged me an additional 78£ for that. Historically - and as is still common with most other vets, the check up is usually included in the initial cost. I’d stay clear of this vet as corporate is drastically increasing prices to drive profits.

Had my wee Brooks in for his first Puppy Check. Having had dogs all my life (I'm now 60) I can attest to the MBM Vets at Mauchline as being the best experience I have had with a Vets Clinic. Staff were professional, courteous, and friendly, but perhaps more importantly they were so good with my wee puppy. Big shout out to Jim and Gabby, who with their calm and warm demeanour settled him down nicely. No drama from Brooks, no fuss. In fact I think he enjoyed it!

Very welcoming reception staff, very open was worried as my dog a cane corso is very reactive to other dogs. She wants to play, but her size puts other dogs and there owners off. Had to muzzle her for the 1st time ever so she was unhappy about this also. Vet was very friendly and allowed her to check her and her room out, and was very relaxed with her during her check up, and giving her injections. Making this as pleasant as possible for her. Highly recommended
