Great support today my mini poodle had been attacked by my cockerpoo. They met us immediately all checked & pain killers, before 9 am.

Lovely local independent vet branch. Nurse and vet staff are genuinely friendly and making the most of the smaller format, reception staff efficient. Puppy club was really helpful and first medications all on track. Very happy with everything so far. Thank you!

I can't thank the team enough for the support with my boy since we first joined them and for the compassion and understanding they have shown since he became increasingly unwell and was ultimately PTS. Hannah and Simon looked after me in my distress and my boy through the process with gentle support and understanding. The reception team have been fantastic throughout too.

If I could give 0 I would. I have been a client for over 20 years and on the whole have received a good service. Today was not the case. I called about a severe issue with my cat and was advised to go straight to the Uppingham Surgery. I did as requested and was (sadly) faced with the only option of euthanasia. The vet was lovely and caring, however. The last thing I expected after 21 years of being a customer was a card machine put toward my face asking for £299 pounds. I found it upsetting and insensitive given that I have always been a loyal customer and also to be told quite bluntly; if you want your cats prints and fur, you can pick them up when you collect your cat carrier. I have always paid without question in the past but I found today very insensitive.

This veterinary surgery is the poorest that we have come across. Our Bichon needed a stamp in her European Passport, she's originally from Portugal, & the locum vet said that was not allowed. Wrong, if the pet is from the EU they can maintain their EU pet passport. After much haggling, she finally agreed to the use of the passport. The vet then dropped our little dog from the height of the examination table & proceeded to scowl at me. I was not holding our dog at the time, she was. She wasn't concerned about any injury that she may have caused, just in protecting herself! Fast forward six months & we went back for a routine vaccination. Another vet listened with her stethoscope to our dog's heart & declared that she had a heart murmer & recommended that we take her to the specialist in the area: Stamford Veterinary Centre. Surprise surprise, they found nothing of the sort. Neither did her next vet in England, nor her veterinary surgery in Portugal. Warning ⚠️ This vet is not your local independent practice. It is owned by the American company, Linnaeus Veterinary & they are part of the Mars Incorportated conglomerate! The same people who are buying up far too many vets in the UK! This place is profit above care. ⚠️
