Yesterday, this team supported us through the most heartbreaking decision - saying goodbye to our beautiful Simba after 14 wonderful years as part of our family. My sister first contacted the practice by phone, and the nurse was incredibly kind, calm and reassuring from the very start. Within 20 minutes I was at the practice with Simba, and both the vet and the nurse were compassionate, gentle and respectful during what was an incredibly painful moment. They treated Simba with dignity and gave us the time and space we needed. The fur clipping and paw prints they provided mean more to us than they will ever know. I cannot recommend them highly enough for their emergency care, professionalism and genuine kindness. We are so grateful for the way they supported us when we needed it most.

On December 16th my Jack Russel dog was visiously attacked on Marlpool Gardens, without thinking i just put her into the car and raced down to Shepherds vets, they immediately took her into vet to be seen, they were fantastic. Unfortunately for Maddi they had to operate, thankfully she pulled threw. Don't know what i would have done without there prompt action and dedication. Today Maddi is thriveing still scared but alive. Thank you all at Shepherds vets you saved my little girl.

Lovely friendly knowledgeable staff. They saved the life of my cat and i will be forever greatful. I was kept up to date the whole time. Simba had to spend a few days there and it was clear how caring the staff are as my normally timid boy was happily accepting cuddles from them. Great service, definitely recommend 👌

Huge thanks to Emma on reception & Ali, the vet who assisted me with a difficult appointment recently. Their care and compassion was second to none, Emma's while dealing with me at an emotional time and Ali's, while dealing with the dog and me at an emotional time. A credit to the practice. Thank you both.

Amazing ! I can't put into words how wonderful every member of staff are here. So my very nervous dog had dental surgery today, I was allowed to be with her for sedation, once she was sleepy she went straight in, once all was done I was called, and was allowed to sit with her until she was ready to go home. Max our vet he's fantastic, made me feel very comfortable with everything, the lovely nurse who's name I diddnt get, she was so nice with my dog you can really tell they are caring kind and compassionate every step of the way. Reception ladies also really nice. I can't recommend them highly enough, if your ever worried about a vet visit, have any concerns or have a Nervous dog this is the practice you need to be at ! 100% happy ! Thankyou for keeping my dog calm today and thankyou for being so wonderful with her 💕 Michelle and luna x
