Appalled with the treatment my kitten recieved, 2 week old kitten was perscribed 2ml of probiotic that caused her to bloat 3 times her size, vomit and choke only 2 hours after recieving the dose. She woke up from her nap and was in complete agony screaming and no time to even get to an emergency vet. I called the practice where receptionist wouldn't speak to me and said it was my fault for "forcing her to eat it" when nothing was forced and was only mixed with her formula she has been getting for a week at this point. She died in so much pain and was heartbreaking to watch. Now my poor girl is gone and nothing will bring her back. To the response, no she wasn't, we walked out with a good prognosis!

Couple years ago was a good vet, now worst than even Alora vet. No manners, no skills, sometimes it looks like veterinarians got trained only when they are hired and without any education. Don't take your pet there if you love it!

I really like this vet. She's very caring, good with the animals and thoughtful.

Wouldn't normally leave a bad review anywhere. But absolutely outraged at the price I have just been quoted to remove a skin tag from my dog. Between £600-800. Daylight robbery. I was made to wait about half an hour as another appointment was due in 15 minutes although my dog was looked at for less than 2 mins when we eventually got taken in and charged £40 for the "examination". Not a great experience. Just go to Ayrton and save the hassle. UPDATE - I got 2 skin tags removed from my dog from another reputable VET and the total cost was £298 including the post op meds and checkup. When I spoke to them they said this was a 15 minute operation. I cannot believe the whitburn VET quoted so much to remove just the one tag. This place is an absolute rip off!
