What does the verified mark on a listing mean?
It means the practice is on the public RCVS register, the accreditations on the listing have been checked, and a real person at the practice is keeping the page up to date. The mark is earned by meeting the criteria. It can't be bought, and ranking can't be paid for.
How are these results ordered?
Verified practices rank above unclaimed listings. That's the only ordering rule. There's no paid placement, no featured tier, and we never sell the spot at the top of the page.
Are opening hours kept up to date?
On verified listings, hours are managed by the practice itself. Filter for “Open now” if you want to skip closed practices.
Can I see practices that handle a specific species?
Yes. Use the species filter at the top of the results to narrow to dogs, cats, rabbits, exotics, large animal, or any combination. The same goes for facilities like in-house imaging or a hospital ward.
