We transferred from Braid Vets Leith branch (also fantastic!) to Dalkeith when we moved and I cannot recommend them highly enough. We have two cats and a dog, and our dog is reactive to touch + we’ve had a WHOLE journey with him - the entire team at Braids has been nothing but patient, supportive, and helpful in getting us the help and care our little ones need. We love Braids (even if our animals act like they don’t 😂)!

I have always had a great experience here. All of the staff have been incredibly helpful and lovely. My poor cat does not like going to the vets, but the vets have always had nothing but patience and kindness towards him!

I cannot fault the Dalkeith branch in the slightest. Have always had a lovely experience with the receptionists. They have been quick and polite when I had questions and was seeking advice on waffles eating habits. The pet health plan at £19.50 a month has saved me so much money on health checks, vaccinations and flee/worm treatment. All the vets are amazing with waffle, he can be pretty feisty and moody and they have always shown him kindness and nothing else.

First visit with my seven year old retriever having just moved from my previous Vet. Very happy with the service we received. Everyone could not have been more pleasant, helpful and appeared interested in both my dog and I. The Vet gave my dog a thorough checkup and asked lots of relevant questions to gain a full picture of my dogs health and any concerns that I may have going forward.

My dog Bruce actually likes coming into Braids Vets, they are always happy to see your pet and obviously their humans, they are very informative and explain everything to you about what needs to happen with your pet, all my dogs past and present have had a fantastic relationship with all the staff there. Lulu the cat who shares her life with me was for a while an all too regular visitor for treatment here. Great care. Great staff. Treatment is not cheap but does reflect the quality of care and expertise you have access to with Braid Vets.
