Since our inception, we have been dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to our patients, who range from cats, dogs, and small mammals to exotic and wild species. At Albavet Burntisland, our dedicated team of professionals is led by our Director, Dr Thomas Henderson, BVSc MRCVS. Dr Henderson is supported by a team of highly qualified veterinary surgeons including Mrs Patricia Canning, MVB MRCVS, Dr Claire Fries, BVMS MRCVS, Dr Christina Mackenzie, BVMS MRCVS, and Dr Merrin Wright, BVSc BSc(Hons) MRCVS. Together, they offer a wealth of expertise and experience, ensuring your pets receive the best possible care and treatment.

Our skilled veterinary nurses, led by our Head Nurse, Miss Samantha Wylie, RVN, play a crucial role in the well-being of our patients. Miss Wylie is supported by an expert team of veterinary nurses, comprised of Mrs Claire Clacher, RVN, Mrs Cheryl Ellis, RVN, Ms Lesley Granton, RVN, and Mrs Dawn Hynd, RVN. Our nurses work closely with our veterinary surgeons to provide outstanding care for our patients throughout their visit to our practice.

This is achieved through maintaining excellent facilities and staying up to date with the latest developments in veterinary medicine. Our practice is designed to cater to the needs of all our patients, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing during their visit.

We understand that your pets are an important part of your family, and we aim to offer flexible appointment options to suit your busy schedule. Our practice is open Monday through Friday from 09:00 to 18:00, with appointments available throughout the day. Please note that we are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
