Phenomenal level of care. Slightly on the pricer side but to be expected when the vets are this great and they have all their own in-house diagnostics. We brought our cat here for a 2nd opinion after another vet diagnosed him with adenocarcinoma from a stomach squeeze and an x-ray. He told us we had days or weeks left, and we'd arranged to have him PTS a few days later. The night before the appointment, I was having second thoughts. I spoke to a vet friend of mine who said I absolutely need a second opinion, and advised I go here. From day one we have been supported and informed. Our cat actually had large cell lymphoma. Two chemo treatments later and he is in full remission. He would have been dead before Christmas if we had listened to the previous vet. I am so grateful for whatever extra time we get with our boy and it is all thanks to this practice. Particular huge huge thank you goes to Brian who has handled Alfie's case from the start. We are so thankful to you.

Absolutely cracking vets here. I've never had any issues with anyone. The health care plan has been worth it's weight in gold for more than 1 of my pets but especially my rabbit. Who, without it, would have cost us over £4000 in her short life due to a severe illness. My dog has cushings and awful arthritis so his medication alone would be hundreds, all covered under his care plan. Clara in particular is an excellent exotic vet for rabbits, Brian, Anna, Jacqueline and Carolina to name a few, have all been superb with all my animals. My dog adores Sarah the nurse who takes his bloods! I trust them completely, and the new building is fabulous!! Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff, service was great. My dog hates the place but that's because they cut his nuts off so that's understandable. I'd reccomened them. He definitely wouldn't.

My Abby vets experience today Today I went to pick up Rupert’s ashes from Abby’s Vets, and I’ve come away feeling completely heartbroken — not just because I’ve lost my boy, but because of how I was treated. I explained at the desk why I was there, gave my surname… and the only response I got was being asked for the payment. No “I’m sorry for your loss”, no compassion, no kindness — just the card machine being pulled out. When I said I was paying in cash, I was looked at in disgust because it meant counting the money. Once it was counted, she simply said, “I’ll go get him.” She handed me the box, and when I asked about Rupert’s paw prints (because I didn’t realise they were inside), I was bluntly told, “They’re in the box,” before she walked away. No comfort. No empathy. No respect for someone grieving their pet. Losing Rupert has been devastating enough — but being treated like an inconvenience at such a sensitive moment was truly heartbreaking. People working with bereaved pet owners should have compassion. Today, that was completely missing 💔

First time using Abbey Veterinary Centre (as new to the area). The staff were lovely and helpful and took great care with our kitten . Not sure how Poppy (kitten) rates them as she hasn't said, however she seems happy - apart from the radical hair cut (where she was shaved) lol
