I'm not sure which vet this was at the practice (I hadn't had him before) but he clipped my poor bunny's nail too short and made her bleed, which I believe is very substandard for a vet (a nurse had to take over and I've never even clipped her nail too short myself!). This was very stressful for her and I believe it contributed to her falling into early stages of GI Stasis the poor girl. He also only checked one side of her mouth in the check up and gave up pretty quickly on the other one - they might not like it (and rarely do without a bit of pushback), but it is important, and it came across as a very 'oh it doesn't matter' level of service. He should definitely stay away from rabbit care as he clearly doesn't have the experience for it. Nevertheless, for the care following this, I'd like to share a particular shoutout to Vet Nicki. Despite not being specialised in rabbit care, she has very rabbit-savvy knowledge and a really lovely approach & customer service, always making me feel like I'm in good hands. I believe she gave all of the treatment and recommendations a rabbit specialist vet would have done. She talked me through how to manage the condition over the phone for the weekend and generally gave that reassurance that pet parents sometimes need. Now my bun seems to be on the mend and getting back to her usual mischievous self. The admin team also filled out the insurance claim details extremely quick with no delay. Thank you hero Vet Nicki & admin team! 🐰🐾

I I am a Consultant within the NHS, where respect and clear communication are fundamental. Unfortunately, this standard has not been reflected in my recent interactions with a particular vet, Rebecca. This is now the second consecutive appointment where I have experienced her manner as condescending, dismissive, and unprofessional and belittling. On both occasions, I felt belittled rather than supported. During the most recent consultation, I felt her tone had become patronising and said so directly, asking her to stop. Her response was, “I will stop when you start listening to me.” I calmly clarified that I was listening. This exchange was uncomfortable and unnecessary, and it contributed to an already tense situation. I also had concerns about the way my dog was handled, which felt overly forceful. When my dog became distressed and resistant, this was attributed to poor training, with comments such as him being a “naughty dog,” rather than adapting the approach to manage his anxiety. Additionally, she raised her voice regarding the dog’s collar, stating in a threatening manner that it was a legal requirement. This was not explained in a calm or professional way. I would like to emphasise that I have had positive experiences with other members of the team, who have been consistently caring and professional. However, my experiences with this vet have been sufficiently negative that I no longer feel comfortable continuing care at this practice. Having since read other reviews describing similar experiences, it appears this may not be an isolated incident. I am extremely disappointed and will be seeking care elsewhere.

Not happy with this vet, my mum is retired and doesn’t have a lot of money and all the vet could say was it’s your faulty he is dead you should have treated the diabetics, when actually he had cancer and died from that, it’s so insensitive to say something to someone who couldn’t love the cat more. The care I witnessed was the best my mum she just couldn’t afford the medicine as the prices were sky high. Bad service if ever I have heard of it! Please be more sensitive when you’re losing an animal these are like children. Thanks

We had a great experience with our cat here. We’d moved from another part of the country, and our boy is quite anxious and spicy. He was in for dental surgery this week, they called us to fetch him, did a debrief, and he’s doing great. He’s always pretty traumatised by this kind of thing but he seemed pretty calm about it all and has bounced back great today. Tommy says thank you!

Really like these vets. I registered on Tuesday and got an appointment the same day. I used to be with manor vets and booking an appointment would usually mean a few days wait, and when I was lucky enough to get an appt I'd be waiting up to an hour after the appointment time! I got seen on time. Vet was very friendly and informative. Receptionists were lovely. There are separate waiting rooms for cats and dogs which is nice. Cheap in comparison to other vets. Hopefully won't need to see them soon but if I do I know the cats will be in good hands

Moved there from Vets4Pets and immediately felt like my cats are finally in the right hands! Vanessa is absolutely lovely, extremely informative and you can tell she loves what she does. The nurses are thorough and kind as well. Thank you all so much for taking care of Donald during his surgery today, he’s having a well deserved nap now :)
