Very sad to know this vets is not to be trusted with your pets!!! As previous bad reviews state. This vet are purely money driven. Our Puppy Had appointment in which the notes state her ears were checked. Lies. They weren’t checked properly otherwise a ear infection would have been noticed by “Dr Alice” if you would even call her a doctor who lies about consultation checks. Because of there lies they wanted more money for a SECOND consultation when apparently according to their notes our pups ears were “checked” in the first consultation???? Plus the next appointment would have been a week after the first which is dangerous for a puppy to suffer from an ear infection for over a week! We have now taken our pet to a more reliable & honest vets. I’d avoid this practise and got to Pets at home Enfield where consultations are £44 - compared to £68.50 this place charge.

So sad to see bad reviews on this page as I've primarily had good experiences. Only thing that annoys me is that we're registered with the Palmers Green branch but seem to always be sent to Winchmore Hill for picking up flea/deworming treatment. Don't understand that but all vets and nurses I've seen at WH have been lovely.

You obviously don’t like going to the vet with your pet.. but if there’s any vet I would recommend, it would be this fantastic team. They’re always friendly and very professional. Treat animals with care and help owners do the best they can. You can sign up for multiple offers/subscriptions they have that will save you money on medication as well.

Unpleasant interaction with vet(Barbara) who seemed to have formed an opinion before I entered the consultation room. Had no desire to actively listen to my opinion as the pet OWNER regarding my dogs health, talked over me at times, body language was also unpleasant. Actually implied I was negligent regarding how I care for my dog. I am a confident owner with years of experience looking after a range of animals. The consultation felt like a bad GP appointment. Left feeling upset and annoyed.

The worst veterinary experience I’ve ever had I’ve been to Village Vet twice — and both visits were an absolute nightmare. The first time I went, there were two nurses and two doctors, yet none of them managed to examine my cat. Their excuse? That my cat was “too aggressive.” I’ve had vets deal with much more difficult animals before — real professionals know how to handle that. But clearly, this clinic has no idea what they’re doing. And to make it worse, they charged me £80 for that so-called “consultation”, even though they didn’t do anything! I was shocked. I decided to give them another chance — big mistake. This time, I only wanted to drop off a stool sample for lab testing, since my cat is already under treatment. I just needed to check whether the bacteria he was treated for were still present. But the receptionist refused to accept the sample, saying it was “impossible” without a full examination of the cat. Completely absurd. I knew exactly what I needed, yet they wouldn’t help at all. This place is a joke. They waste your time, take your money, and show zero understanding of animals or their owners. Stay far, far away from Village Vet. They are unprofessional, unhelpful, and only seem interested in charging people for nothing. If you care about your pet, go anywhere else.

I felt extremely let down by these vets and nurses. I had been feeding a stray cat for a prolonged period of time - he always appeared to be in a healthy condition and he also enjoyed being outside. Due to us having 3 cats of our own who were fearful of him - we were unable to take him on as our own. We had then began to notice that he wasn’t eating properly and that was very unusual for him. He then began to appear to be very poorly and so I was recommended this vet by a local lady who tries to help all stray cats within my local area. They gave me an appointment straight away so I felt extremely optimistic, however when I got there and he had been seen, they told me that he wasn’t microchipped. That then lead on to the nurse telling me to just release him in a park or a patch of grass. I was absolutely horrified. This cat was clearly unwell and they refused to keep him in and treat him. I released him into my garden and he left and I have not seen him since. It’s been many weeks now and the fact he had not eaten or drunk for days - I assume he has now passed away, which ultimately could have been prevented. Vets are supposed to be animal lovers as a lot of us are yet only seem to now be driven by money. It’s such a shame to see how the world is changing. I shall never go back to that vets - shame on them.

Have been going here for years, really nice staff and vets. Definitely recommend. You can also see your bike from the waiting room if locked up outside. The building is beside a cycle lane and bus stop for easy access.
