I can't recommend Village Vets enough. We've been registered with them for years and have had nothing but the very best experiences. Both Pat and Tom have a wonderful way with both my cat and dog and I always feel they are in the very best hands. They always take the time to explain everything and give you all the options available. They were especially kind to me when my cat was attacked by a dog and really made an awful experience a lot easier to deal with. My cat has both chronic kidney disease and hyperthyroidism and Pat has been excellent throughout, providing us with guidance on treatment and helping keep my cat's stress to a minimum. Would highly recommend.

Always polite friendly staff. The vet gave my dog a thorough examination, and then her booster vaccination. He assures me she's doing really well. She even gets a treat, which she loves. Very happy with the service I receive.

I have decided to stop using this veterinary practice after two very disappointing experiences. My dog was brought here only because it was local to my mum, who was looking after him at the time. On both visits, Pat came across as unfriendly, giving the impression that he didn’t particularly like animals. His manner bordered on rude, and the way he spoke about my dog’s health was unnecessarily negative, making it sound as though my dog was in a much worse condition than he actually was. For peace of mind, I sought second opinions from two other vets — my regular practice in Hove (5*) and another highly rated vet in Chilworth (5*). Both confirmed that the concerns raised here were exaggerated and not issues at all. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this vet. If you want a professional, friendly, and reassuring service where your pet is treated with genuine care, I would strongly advise going elsewhere
