A mixed review, sometimes a helpful caring and helpful vets full of advice. However when my cat passed away last year it was emotional of course, I was given a panflet of very expensive costs of cremation no other options, the cheapest option was still expensive, upon reflection I wasn't even offered if I could take her home to bury her. Not one staff member offered this suggestion considering how upset I was. I lost my cat & lost ££ money. Recently I took my other cat for his booster, the reception was busy & loud [barking dogs] it doesn't make sense to walk through the dogs waiting area to get to the cat waiting area, whichever way you look at it the dogs & cats will look at each other, interact and stress each other out, the dogs weighing scale is also opposite the cat zone again triggering the cats/dogs. I personally think the reception needs a redesign. I felt uncomfortable attempting to pass the dogs and keep my cat calm with dogs barking & bouncing. I hope these aspects get addressed. Thank you

After four years as a loyal client, I’m switching vets to a practice that prioritizes animals over profit. Despite spending thousands with Willows Veterinary Group, my recent experience was disappointing. My dog, with a phantom pregnancy, was checked and vaccinated by a helpful nurse. She needed to wait before surgery to see if she would stop producing milk, but when she still produced milk, I saw a vet who prescribed medication. Now, after positive results, they want me to bring her in again for a check, charging me XXX again, just to issue a repeat prescription. This means paying multiple times for the same issue, first last week, then for the checkup that isn’t needed because I’m completely capable of checking if she’s producing milk, and then for her surgery. It feels like profit is being prioritized over her well-being. Whilst paying for her treatments etc isn’t an issue for me, I absolutely take an issue in profit making over the health of my dog. I’ve had good experiences in the past, but I’ll now seek a practice that truly puts animals first.

I took our 2 kittens to Birchwood Vet's for their first vaccinations. All of the staff were extremely professional and friendly. Everything that I need to do over the next couple of months was explained thoroughly. Nothing was too much trouble.

Fantastic service for our beautiful little puppy Mabel. Have been with Willows fir three years now with our other dog Molly. Always a smile when visiting and find the monthly health plan is value for money.

I would recommend Birchwood Vets without hesitation or reservation, the care they provided to our loving dog Bud and the support to myself was above and beyond - we have been with the practice a number of years and have nothing but kind words to say about every member of the team - if I could just convince you all to open a practice in Spain it would be perfect. Once again thanks for the support during what was an emotional time yesterday. x x
