So pleased to see Hannah again, she was very helpful and caring with my 'old' cat. She swiftly dealt with his medical issues and provided all the information needed.

Very disappointed .I came in couple of weeks ago to get flea treatment for my cat I was told I had to have a consultation as they hadn't seen her for awhile.i explained she had flea treatment 3 months ago from them and didn't need to see vets. The receptionist said she would look into it and get back to me that day or the next .She never did.A week later I called to find out.I had explained I just wanted flea treatment and couldn't afford a consultation as well. She said it was free as it's procedure and would be fine. Today I came and was charged for the consultation.I said at the desk,I was told I didn't have to pay for the consultation part from previous receptionist. This lady today said that's just if you have a pet plan So why wasn't this explained before. Not very good service at all.The vet was very helpful though

Took our cat into Churchend Vets for his annual check up and booster jab. The lady Vet took great care and interest in our cat - she was quite the “cat whisperer”. Great Staff on Reception.

STOP! Don't go anywhere else! You won't beat this practice. We have an elderly fox terrier who is, without question, our fur baby. She's been very lucky with her health until the last couple of years when arthritis set in quite badly. By chance we had a consultation with Andy at King's Avenue (and also by coincidence, I met a friend in the waiting room who I first worked with 35+ years ago and she said she wouldn't see anyone else). Andy really was an angel who showed care and compassion towards our little lady. He has a gentle approach and is a vet who looks for the most appropriate option for an elderly dog and doesn't recommend things that are unnecessary/inappropriate at this stage of their lives. We followed Andy to Churchend Practice once they reopened and it has been such a lovely experience for us and our girl. Recently we've seen Andy's colleague, Hannah who is just as lovely. I can't believe we've found such compassionate vets to guide us through the very difficult path we now find ourselves on. Hannah has been a delight, very kind and understanding when we've had difficult conversations about the future and it brings us much comfort to know that when that day comes we'll have one of them to help us through. The only experience we've had of the nurses has been brief but they've shown they are out of the same mould and the reception team, Chantelle and Jack have been equally compassionate as well as efficient and polite. The waiting room is large and is a calm environment for those with anxious pets. What an incredible practice! We could not recommend a better team to look after your precious ones.

A very warm welcome with my animals when you first walk in. Both Hannah and Andy, the vets, are lovely and take the time to explain everything to you regarding your animal and what's going on. A lovely, close-knit team that really show that your animal is getting the best care possible. Genuinely refuse to take my pets to see anyone other than Hannah and those she recommends. Only thing I'd mention would be the possibility of adding music in the waiting room so the conversations in the consult rooms can't be overheard.
