Owned by Dr. Sarah Gay, a highly-qualified veterinarian who has a VetMB MA CertAVP(Cattle) MRCVS degree, South Moor Vets offers a range of veterinary services. We strive to provide our clients with a personalised, comprehensive and compassionate service. We believe in building long-lasting relationships with our clients and their pets. This approach enables us to provide pets with the individual care they require to maintain optimal health and wellbeing.

Our veterinary doctors are knowledgeable and experienced in treating a variety of species. We provide comprehensive services for aquatics, birds, camelids, cats, cattle, deer, dogs, equines, exotic, wild, pigs, poultry, sheep, goats and small mammals. Additionally, we are staffed with Advanced Practitioners whose expertise serves to complement the skill set of our veterinary doctors, so that virtually any challenge can be faced.

At South Moor Vets, we believe that prevention is always better than cure. That’s why, in addition to providing routine veterinary checkups, we offer practical advice on how to keep your pets healthy, including diet and disease prevention information. We believe in providing our clients with the information and resources they need to provide a healthy and nurturing environment for their pets.

We invite you to visit our facilities, which are fully-equipped with the latest technology and equipment. Our facilities are designed to make your pets’ visit to the vet as stress-free as possible. In addition to our consultation rooms, we have excellent surgical suites and a laboratory, carrying out the majority of our diagnostics on phone, and via whatsapp so that we can communicate with our clients wherever they are.

We are open Monday to Friday, with appointments available all day from 8.30am to 6pm, and Saturdays, between 9am and 12 noon.
