From mid-February to mid-May there is 12 weeks of continuous vet cover to ensure that lambing and calving is given as much support as possible.
For the rest of the year, a group of experienced mixed practice vets rotate through Tiree. When there’s no vet physically in Tiree, there is a telemedicine backup available 24/7.
For assistance during office hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm), Call 01879 552 101 and the Practice Manager will arrange your appointment, or connect you with the vet.
For Emergencies, calls automatically forward to the on duty vet, even if they’re not physically in Tiree.

Recently had cause to take our short-haired Border Collie, Dougie, to Coll & Tiree Vets to have two staples inserted into a wound he sustained while playing. According to my wife, Anne, was very nice and very professional during the whole procedure and Dougie was very relaxed with her. We can thoroughly recommend the services of Coll & Tiree Vets (the only ones on the island) if you have occasion to need them! ★★★★★
