I took my small dog with a small growth under her eyelid to have it removed She was basically mutilated, firstly the wound was badly infected which later after witnessing the lack of attention shown to hygiene by the vet involved I was appalled! Then after the second or third lot of antibiotics and well over two weeks of nursing the wound the stitchers were still well and truly embedded in the wound and it was quite obvious they were not disolvable even though the condisending elderly receptionist reasured me they were! I rang up and asked if they minded removing them so I was called in to have them removed! My poor little dog was pulled about on her eyelid and she squealed with pain by the same vet who never attempted to place her on the couch on his knee on the floor and attempting to cut the stitches off the eyelid he then pulled a peice of couch roll and wiped the eyelid and was touching her eye without washing his hands! my little Jack Russell was terrified, the vet then decided to sedate her and that turned into another drama because on his knees on the floor attempting to inject her and missed so he didn't know whether the siren went into the dog into me or missed altogether absolutely awful distressing fiasco the result my dogs eyelid is uneven and eyelashes catching her eye is weeping! They haven't once attempted to follow up and see how it healed instead they are waiting for me to take her in so they can charge me more money! Hundreds of pounds eventually I had to find a specialist to sort it all I had from Beechhouse Vets was insults and made to feel in the wrong when I complained and an offer to take my doggie back in for another round of pain and drama even though he had two goes! and was paid for the whole fiasco! I was even charged to have the stitches removed because he couldn't manage to remove the stitches without anesthetic and then he left some stitches in!

This is definitely the best vets I've been to. They took our concerns seriously about our cat and we've finally figured out what's been going on. They recommended us to a specialist and now she's doing a lot better. Huge thank you to the time and care these vets put in, and thank you to reception as well for always helping us out.

Few vets seem to treat chickens nowadays, so this surgery is a gem. They are so knowledgeable and professional, but most importantly they are very caring and compassionate. Today we said goodbye to this beautiful chicken Dove. A rare fox attack yesterday and injuries that were too severe for further treatment. I held her for 10 minutes in the surgery room, as she drifted of to sleep, loving her cuddles as always. She was about 7 years old and had been with us for more than 4 years, part of my own healing journey after some personal trauma. Goodbye Dove, enjoy heaven, you deserve it. Thank you to all at Beech House, I have no hesitation in recommending this practise

This vet practice is absolutely fantastic. They have brought my rescue greyhound back into very good health and got her Cushings Disease well under control. Always had speedy apointments and the wonderful people who work there really care about the animals. Charles Castle goes above and beyond when it comes to our pets. He is genuinely kind and will always tell you what is for the best. Money is not the top priority of this vet! Many thanks for all your kind assistance so far with my Seeker. Sandy and Seeker❤️💕
