I came in with my new kitten for her vaccination and deworming treatment. The vet was very friendly and lovely! He clearly knew what he was doing so I could trust him. I am a worrier cat mum but he put me at ease and explained everything to me and was patient. Receptionist was superb and welcoming! She made me feel at ease from over the phone to attending in person. Receptionists usually get a bad rep but she was brilliant!!

Have been with this vet for over three years and they have been fantastic. One of my dogs has Addisons disease and it has been well managed since diagnosis. All staff have always been incredibly kind and caring, the vets themselves are excellent, they have the greatest compassion and expertise and I’d highly recommend them.

The veterinary nurse here, is brilliant. Took my rabbit here, and she is clearly a rabbit lover. Put him at ease, which could've been a very stressful time for him.

The worst experience, the vet is rude, unprofessional and the worst person to communicate with, just rolls his eyes when you try to talk. It’s the same vet from st James that’s moved over to riverside since the fire. I’d give zero stars if I could. DO NOT GO WITH VETS FOR PETS. Please can you hire a proper professional vet as the guy you have is useless

Please please please take your pets away from here. He suggested to put my dog down as there was nothing they could do, and to "give it a think we are open til 8pm, here's a bill for 70 quid" I took him away and he's absolutely fine now a month later, new vets said he's doing fine. They're so so bad, my dogs were petrified in there also.

unfortunately not a good experience for us and our new puppy. the same as a few other reviews on here, receptionists were really rude and unwelcoming. was on a call and when putting the phone down whispered under her breath criticising whoever was on the other side of it. the vet said “that didn’t even hurt” when puppy was screaming getting her jabs. probably traumatised her from going again now 😕

When does an estimate not include everything they know they will charge you for? - when its Vets for Pets - Northampton Riverside. They also fail to provide a copy of the estimate or the bill even if you ask for them

We went to inquire about seeing the vets amd getting more information as we were getting a kitten our first pet as a family and the receptionist was just rude, fobbed us off, no personality at all she was horrible she nearly put my daughter off if vet people were like this, sorry but shes not a people person she is in the wrong job. Wont be bringing my pet there also heard too many bad things about these vets.
