Was only in Haltwhistle for 6 months, but the vets were great. Made a fuss of the dog and the staff were very friendly!

I travel to this vets as they are much fairer priced than others in the area, and look after our dogs very well.

Visited twice with dog who was taken ill on a short holiday. On both occasions an appointment was arranged within an hour of ringing. The vets and support staff were superb

Capontree are the most compassionate vets I've had the pleasure of using. Whether tending to my animals day to day illnesses or when the time comes to send them over the rainbow bridge every vet truly cares and I know my pet is in good hands. Their prices are amazingly reasonable and you never feel shamed about not affording a procedure, they will do everything they can to help you sort things out. They are awesome.

Took my Jack Russell because of what I suspected to be a phantom pregnancy. The available vet lectured me on getting her spade, never examined her, gave me 4days worth of medication to dry up her milk and charged me £56 for the privilege. Maybe because of cleaning between clients due to Covid-19 he was reluctant to actually take a look at her? An inconvenience perhaps?
