Donaldsons Vets - Somerset Road

Just want to say thank you to Donaldson vets for doing my cat Leo’s teeth. I was quoted over £900 by Calder vets for the same treatment that they charged half of. They were very helpful and provided an excellent service

After several wrong diagnosis at Hirds we decided to move to Donaldsons and couldnt be happier. The service and professianlism of everyone we have met. Expert consistant andvise and great to be able to have the number of the vet you deal with. Highley reccomended

Over the last 35 years I’ve been with them and a lot of money spent over numerous animals. I’ve never come across a manager as ignorant in my life! I had adhd and I’m also partially deaf. I am louder than usual for obvious reasons which they know! And they said I was shouting at their reception! I was told I owe money numerous occasions when i didn’t then got apologised to then told on the last bill I did actually owe money I told them when I got back from holiday I would pay them but they still insisted on contacting my mother and me …I called the reception and asked them to please stop contacting my mother this is boarder line harassment. I got back from holiday called to pay and they said I wasn’t allowed to pay as the account was in my mums name I said no it’s not it’s mine and you’ve been contacting me for 2 weeks I’ve been away and then moved onto the next number you had to bother my mum they’re my dogs not hers! Then apologised to yet again! I paid and then I reviewed an email saying they’re kicking me from the surgery! Absolute bully’s! Not to mention 15 years ago they killed my dog by accidently giving too much anaesthetic. Thsi time around I can’t actually fault the vets they have all been nice. And I’ve not had an issue with them! But the receptionist team and their rules and regulations they can treat you like an idiot but soon as you match their energy you get kicked out. Horrendous .
