  Superb support when our guinea pig was ill, although unfortunately we had to let her go. All options discussed and tried, vet was extremely compassionate and caring. All staff we met have been lovely, both in Methlick and Ellon. I would highly recommend them. Also their fees are not extortionate.

  almost a year ago my puppy got sick with and they were absolutely useless and never helped my puppy at all. I would seriously recommend avoiding them at all cost as the vet was more interested in filling out paper work rather than helping my poor puppy something ill always remember and never forget STAY CLEAR I know its late but I never realised they had Facebook which they have now blocked me to remove my review

  Veterinary advice and care is generally ok, but be prepared for a very, very hefty bill. Many years ago the "labour charge" was in excess of £165 Per Hour, an amount justified by the owner in an email to me saying that was what lawyers charged. It will certainly save you a lot of money if you get any medication from an online veterinary practice, otherwise you will pay many, many, many times the online price for any medication. Sadly you will pay a lot for a prescription but it will still save you a massive deal of money if you need long term medication. Actual example:- £165 for a month's medication - same medication acquired by me from an online veterinary practice in Norfolk for less than £60, including postage. When this was queried, the answer was simple, this is what we charge! Also, unlike most vets, according to livestock societies we belonged to, eg. Highland Cattle Society, Hedridean Sheep Society, Oxford Sandy and Black, no discount for pets when you are registered with the practice for livestock. Indicative, I would suggest, of the attitude of the owner, not the vets who work for him! How sad!

  Have been with Glenythan Vet Group for 12 years now and have had to visit ALOT, especially with one of my cats. Always had a fantastic service. Very professional and they explain things to you clearly so you can better understand and not in "vet" talk. Your beloved pets are in good hands with Glenythan.

  All staff from receptionists at ellon branch to vets at methlick were great. Had to get an emergency appointment for parents dog who isn't registered up here and they didn't bat an eye, also very skilled at working with an ill dog who didn't like getting touched or injections! Would recommend to all.
