Dora passed away in her sleep before her diagnosis. The specialist we were speaking to was Rebecca and she was fabulous at her job she examined Dora's paw and within minutes we had a full plan of action. I would certainly recommend Northwest Vet Specialist. Her younger still misses her alot❤️ (the one on the right)

Our dachshund suddenly had IVDD, inexperienced in any trips to the vets. We were greeted with a warm, friendly and knowledgeable vet who explained everything to us. I felt that all vets and staff we have been in contact with have been polite, kind and caring. Our dog; Lennon was treated like royalty. Whilst I hope no other dog requires such service, it is inevitable and I highly recommend this veterinary specialist.

We first visited NWVS in Feb 2025 with our 11 yr dog Ted who was suffering with various issues. From our initial telephone call to date we have had the most incredible service. Reception - Clear, concise communication and professionalism experienced whilst booking appointments, liaising with our pet insurer and serving us hot drinks on arrival following our 1 hour journey Consultations- We continue to experience exceptional care and explanation of conditions by Chantal Rosa who we have complete faith in. Ted’s health has gradually improved and his conditions are regularly monitored, this keeps him with us thanks to all concerned. In summary, this practice cannot be bettered for the care of a loved pet. Well done and a massive thank you to all at NWVS

From the first phone call from reception staff to the consultation and aftercare the service has been fantastic. My dog was admitted for a full 8 hours of tests and he came out happy, clean and well looked after. Results followed a few days after and all communication has been quick and clear. A big thank you to Harry and all the Nursing team who looked after Dexter.

I cannot sing the praises of the Northwest Veterinary Specialist team enough. I have been an anxious mess following my Dachshund, Fin, being diagnosed with Stage 4 IVDD and becoming paretic within hours, but from the moment we brought him in, every single person we encountered was kind, calm and reassuring. The team were so patient whilst I cried (more than a handful of times) and so incredibly efficient and decisive with his treatment. I have always been anxious about leaving Fin at the vets, but for the first time ever, I felt completely safe placing him in their hands at one of the most critical moments of his life. Luca Motta, the Neurologist (and I believe Head Neurologist), is not only evidently exceptionally skilled but also compassionate, clear, composed and incredibly knowledgeable. He communicates in a way that is both straightforward and reassuring; you feel informed, respected and confident in his expertise. I truly cannot thank you enough for what you have done for my boy. To the nursing team who cared for him 24/7, you are extraordinary. The compassion, attentiveness and gentleness you show (and also to a very emotional owner!) does not go unnoticed. It can’t be an easy job, especially caring for post-op spinal patients but the kindness and dedication you demonstrate is remarkable. To the admin team, from helping navigate paperwork (which feels overwhelming when you’re terrified and running on no sleep) to the patient, kind voices on the phone when I called at night for updates.. your empathy, professionalism and reassurance meant more than you will ever know. I know this is a long review, but every single member of staff I encountered was outstanding. At one of the most frightening times of my life, the team treated Fin compassion and urgency (and me!). We know the recovery road ahead is long, but thanks to the vigilance, expertise, teamwork and genuine care of this team, my boy has a chance. And for that, I will be forever grateful. A fantastic and professional service from referral through to aftercare. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They have gone above and beyond to support my lovely Greyhound boy with multiple, complex health issues. A safe pair of hands for your pets and highly recommended. Cannot thank the team enough. My experience at Northwest Veterinary centre was amazing from there time it took to acknowledge my referral to the way they handled my much loved dogs case. They couldn't have been more helpful and empathetic. At such a stressful time they made a huge difference. I can't thank them enough. Ill be forever grateful

Runcorn Special Vets have been absolutely incredible with my 3-year-old Frenchie, Milo, after he suffered a slipped disc. Although the cost came to £10k (not their fault), the level of care he received was worth every penny. They carried out the scan and surgery within a day, and he was back home in just 4 days. Throughout his stay, they kept us fully updated and even sent photos, which meant the world to us while he was in their care. Milo also had physio sessions with them, and they were amazing with him — so gentle, patient and genuinely invested in his recovery. A huge thank you to Rory, who performed Milo’s surgery — we’re so grateful for the skill and care that went into it. It’s now 4 months post-op and he’s doing amazingly well. He recently had a little flare-up, and when I rang them for advice, they were just as helpful and supportive as ever. I genuinely can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for Milo. Outstanding team and outstanding care. Highly recommended 🩷
