Visited today with concerns about one of my rabbits. The vet (Dermot) was lovely and was very thorough in checking her over. I feel confident we were given the best care and advice during our consultation. Reception and nursing staff were very helpful and friendly as always. Highly recommend!

Took my little Smokey in on Friday as he was in pain but I didn’t know why. He didn’t want anyone going near his mouth. There was a temporary vet called Emma C and she was very kind and tried as much as possible to look into his mouth. It was late on a Friday and I know people want to get home asap but she got two of the other girls, Katie B and Charlie R, to go get him prepped for sedation whilst she was still seeing other clients. I’ve only lost my other dog 5 months ago so I was quite nervous about the sedation but Emma said his heartbeat was good and they’ll take good care of him. I waited there the whole time and Emma let me go up to see him to put my mind at ease. We didn’t find anything in his mouth or throat and today, 4 days later, he’s back to his old self and eating properly again. Thank you so much for your kindness and support throughout.

If I could give zero stars to Regan Veterinary Group, I absolutely would. Pet owners need to be aware of **Dr Chelsea Warrens** practices. We took our cat Skye in with a clear infected bite wound and abscess. Unfortunately we were met by the same oblivious nurse who forced us to pay to put our cat down and report us to the RSPCA if we didn't do so. I had no choice and knew she was going to damage our cat again. The vet nurse told us it would cost £120 to clean and treat it. She took him upstairs and brought him back down minutes later and dumped him on the floor looking exactly the same as when he went up. The wound hadn’t been properly treated, drained, or cleaned. Nothing. It looked untouched. It genuinely felt like the “treatment” was either forgotten or barely attempted. £120 for what appeared to be nothing more than a quick dab with water. She also pushed penicillin tablets on our cat despite us clearly saying he cannot take tablets. We took Skye to Go Vets the next day and they were surprised we were charged so much for such little treatment. Because the wound wasn’t properly handled the first time, our cat’s condition worsened and he now had to undergo surgery. When we called the vets back to question what had happened, the response was just as bad. The nurse immediately became defensive and rude, bluntly telling us to “go somewhere else” and claiming that we had “accepted” the treatment. She told us to come back to get it treated again, but it would cost more. She then proceeded to say "Bye" and end the phone on our face. No professionalism at all with people who are concerned and worried about their pet. You should be trying to reason and calm owners down. Not talk arrogantly and saying you know better. She claimed she “couldn’t clean inside the wound because the cat wouldn’t allow it.” Of course he wouldn’t — what cat is going to sit still while someone pokes around an open, infected wound with no anaesthetic? All you did was dab some water and charged us £120 with a straight face. That attitude alone says everything. Why would we need to pay for treatment again if you claim you've already done so? This experience was unprofessional, dismissive, and frankly alarming. When you take a pet to a veterinary practice, you expect care, competence, and responsibility. Instead we were met with pressure to undergo questionable treatment, and open hostility when we raised concerns. I would not trust this nurse with any animal. If you value your pet’s wellbeing, think very carefully before letting them anywhere near this practice. I hope I publicly made people aware of her practises and file a complaint with RCVS tomorrow.

Overpriced and willing to take the most expensive and drastic action before trying anything else, for example, telling me my Cat's eye will need to be removed when he was scratched by another cat. I got a second opinion and he was prescribed an antibiotics which cleared up the infection in his eye. Another example is amputating the fractured leg of a stray kitten we found, we took her somewhere else and they gave her painkillers and monitored for improvements before considering amputation, the kittens leg healed fine. In short, the avenue seem to be happy mutilating your pet if it means they get more money rather than trying less drastic measures first

My dog has been registered here since being a puppy and he is now 7 years old. I got the insurance through animal friends as recommended by this practice but it actually turns out that you have to pay out first to the vet and then they tell you to claim of insurers. They then said it isnt guaranteed what is insured until they see and diagnosed the dog. I explained I do not understand but the woman on the phone was just really unhelpful. Not once did she even ask what was wrong with the dog to even offer some free advice or tell me if it aounded like an emergency or not. I was then told by them to use the PDSA if I cant afford it but why should I have to use an animal charity when I have been paying insurance for years. They honestly was not helpful what so ever. If at all possible I would strongly advise do not take your animals here Took my very nervous cat in as I was previously told by the senior vet she had dental issues for the vet to tell me she needed 9 if not all of her teeth removing (or in the future she would be in so much pain she would stop eating all together and starve to death) Took her in to be phoned a few hours later by the vet to say I needed to pick my cat up asap as she was extremely nervous and briefly told she had ZERO teeth removed but I could find out when I picked her up.. I also asked if I could make the payment over the phone to avoid any prolonged time which was a no. I went to collect and instead of being taken into a room she was brought out shaking in the main reception and left dumped on a chair alone while dogs barked around her by a receptionist saying she had "no idea of the price at the top of her head" which resulted in 15 minutes of walking back and forth to my very anxious cat waiting while the vet with at least 5 members of staff all saying different figures and asking "oh how much should we charge for this?" To then be told that it's cause they are very short staffed. So I was left with zero aftercare advice, if I need to take her back for a checkup, if the issue will reoccurr in the future or if / when to feed and no pain medication. So I will now have to endure another visit at a hopefully more competent vets for a second opinion. So so disappointing. I would strongly advise anyone to find a more caring, professional vets if possible.

Our beautiful 10 year old german shepherd passed away Monday night. She had been under the care of here since being a puppy. In 2018 we found out she had a condition that would be life long. We were supported the whole way through this. She was an anxious dog that had nervous aggression and the vets were always accommodating, they went out of their way to make sure we could do what was best for our dog. Special mention to Dermot for all his help over the years and to Chelsea who was involved in the last months of tess’s life. You treated her with such compassion and always put her well being first. We received a card this afternoon from Chelsea and the team who sent their condolences. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. This is really hard for us. She meant everything to us but I can say I know she got the best care and her well being was always top priority. Love Becky and lee faulkner

Waited 30 minutes for them to answer phone. Give up in the end and will be moving vets to a more reliable one. So after your response 12 months ago I have phoned again waited 30 minutes in your queue and give up. So try again after 4pm. Currently waiting in queue again another 31 mins how long do I wait “ your currently next in queue “. Obviously, no change to your service. I give up. Don’t use these vets if you want to get your dog seen
