My family and I have been with the practice since approx 2002 when we had our first rescue dog, and growing up as a teenager during that time we used Gourley’s for all 3 of my family dogs, and also with my own two dogs in the last 8 years. We have seen many different vets during the years but mainly Diego, he is a genuine, caring and honest vet and ever since we first joined he has been amazing and a credit. I have always had full confidence in his help and advise and can’t thank him enough for everything he has done for my three family dogs growing up and my my own dogs the last 24 years or so.

During my cat's annual check up I mentioned I was concerned he had lost too much weight. I was told it was fine and he needed to lose more. We were then casually advised to get him plaque off for his teeth. Two months later we had to say goodbye to him. After the fact I found out that plaque off is dangerous for cats with hyperthyroidism (a sign of which is losing weight too quickly) and can exacerbate diabetes. He officially died of uncontrolled diabetes, but had also in retrospect shown signs of hyperthyroidism too. He went downhill so qiickly after we gave him aque off. Please, please don't so casually suggest plaque off. I will forever be heartbroken that the condition we didn't know he had had been sped up by something I was told to give him.

We took our nervous dog who had a painful ear infection. The vet was fantastic. He was compassionate, gentle and very understanding of our nervous dog. He also did not try to upsell anything we didn't need and advised where we could buy ear cleaner online. Thank you to Mr Mossford and the team. I would highly recommend this vet practice.

In the last few months my family have sent two male kittens to be castrated and chipped. Both came out with injuries. A spinal injury that has that has taken ages and it still getting better. The other cat an eye injury as he somehow managed to scratch the iris on his eye. After the spinal injury which was caused by them using epidurals and catching a nerve on the spine. I asked how they were going to sedate the second cat and I was told it would be a cannula above his paw. But I got him back and there was not shave mark on his fur so I was straight up lied to. To confound it all they tried to overcharge me after injuring my cat. My family will never use this vet again as we fear for our cats safety in their overpriced hands
