  Sadly we had to have our very much loved & adored chihuahua Chica put to sleep after 14 years of happiness, after finding out she had catastrophic heart failure, we are distraught to say the least, but we found much comfort & compassion from the very kind & gentle vet Edgar. He put our minds at ease, so we knew the decision we came to was the right one, our hearts are broken, but we are grateful for the kindness & sympathy shown to us. Gracias Edgar.🐕💔

  Been using this vets for over 6 years never had a problem apart from the high prices but I thought it was worth it but recently I had my dog too too sleep and what an absolute nightmare…… I was very sad trying too call too book in I was reminded by the receptionist I owe 60 pound three times ! After they only took half of a direct debit the month before (not my fault) I was told three times I can’t euthanise my dog until I’ve paid this 60 pound then while waiting I can hear the entire reception staff laughing and joking about learning too speak Spanish from one of the vet’s I left thru the back door as I couldn’t face them all smiling then I come too collect my dogs ashes paw prints and lock of hair I paid 560 pounds for too be told they was simply “forgotten” and no paw prints hasn’t been done I then rang the next morning too be told I had declined them on the day ???? Never would I decline such a thing I don’t think I have cried this way ever before and they genuinely don’t seem bothered in the slightest just told sorry there’s nothing we can do now I will never use this vets again as long as I live and I had 6 animals registered with them they lost my money and most they’ve lost my respect I’m truely heartbroken 🥲

  My dear 15 year old cat underwent a dental procedure last month. Huge thanks to Dr. Jevan Van Vuuren and Harry, we are lucky to have a VET like this in Chadderton! They know what work best for your furry children and provide professional and humane service. Highly recommended if your furry children needs one. Overall we are very pleased with service by Medivet Chadderton.

  Really really good vets chop a 47kg reactive rottweiler had a castration here The vet and all the staff was excellent though out . They explained everything clearly and even wanted a follow up picture a week later. All in all outstanding cant fault them at all thank you

  A very well run set up. From receptionist (Harry) to vets (especially Rachael), all showing passion, love and attention to your animal. Highly recommended for anybody wanting priority care and support for their pets.

  This vet practice is incredible. Everyone (including reception) who works here is passionate, supportive, caring and helpful (without judgement). I am so glad I moved my dog here about 18 months ago. It’s so much more convenient but as it’s turned out, they genuinely care about my pet and give me incredible advice. I recommend this vet 100%.

  The lady vet I saw (I’m sorry, I didn’t catch her name) was incredibly attentive and kind. My cat had an accident on the way to the clinic, and she kindly cleaned his carrier and placed a puppy pad inside so he wouldn’t have to travel home in his own urine. She was very patient and explained clearly what might be causing my cat’s symptoms. It was evident that she truly cares about the animals she treats, and I was very impressed by her professional yet gentle manner. Also, the receptionist and nurse, who assisted the vet, were very friendly and approachable.

  Have had my other 2 cats here before and they are beyond amazing. However, wanted to give my massive thanks to Rachel. She has seem myself and shadow twice for vaccinations and check up. Rachel is always so kind and works up trust with Shadow. Rachel is always smiley, always talks through the procedure and provides lots of treats for shadow, he is always so calm with her!! We want to give our massive thanks again to Rachel and the team for all their hard work!! ❤️
