Very poor service. Every visit involves an upselling opportunity. My dog is on recurrent blood tests for CKD never see the same vet twice. Only once had a call to tell me the results. Never get emails replied to. The latest vet asks me to drop off a urine sample. When I do I'm asked what it's for and told it hasn't yet been paid for despite vet telling me cost of treatment and me paying it before we left. Update 27/3 medivet called. Told they had urine test results but I needed to pay first. When I asked about the blood results paid for last week £232 told they tried to call yesterday but I didn't pick up. I'd no missed calls. Asked why vet on Sat gave me sample bottle but didn't mention more fees no answer as locum. Told vet would call me later about bloods which she did. Didn't address service issues until I asked about them where I just got more its wasn't my fault excuses. Don't expect them to get back to you about emails or results theyre clearly only interested in the consultation fee and selling tests. This time because husband bloods were OK and his urine was ok he might need imaging tests. Well if he does it won't be at Medivet. Total tip off. Read the Facebook reviews full of similar to this. Oh and £71 for the urine test but she waived it because I complained.

I do not trust this veterinary practice. They advised that my dog required surgery. Concerned, I sought a second opinion and arranged for further diagnostic scans. The results clearly showed that surgery was not necessary. In fact, proceeding with the operation could have put my dog’s life at serious risk. This experience has significantly undermined my confidence in their clinical judgment and their duty of care. I do not feel assured that the welfare of the animals they treat is their primary concern. I have also heard a number of troubling accounts from others regarding this practice, particularly in relation to their prescribing and handling of medications.

I have serious concerns about the way Megan treats animals. In my experience, her duty of care simply does not exist. She has been extremely difficult to deal with and has made false remarks and comments, seemingly because we chose to seek veterinary treatment elsewhere for less than half of what we were being charged. I strongly believe pets are being overcharged for treatment and even recommended procedures that are not necessary. This has now happened to us twice. The first time, we were told our dog needed surgery to remove stones and were even advised that euthanasia might be necessary. After seeking a second opinion and arranging another scan elsewhere, we were informed that there were no stones at all. That alone was deeply distressing. Now, for a second time, our dog has suffered harm following treatment and decisions made under Megan’s care. This has been an incredibly upsetting experience. From our perspective, there appears to be more focus on profit than on the wellbeing of innocent animals. I would not recommend based on our experience.

Our 15 year old dog, Daisy, was on her last legs so we needed to arrange her final goodbye. We contacted our regular vet who couldn't help as they had staff sickness. After calling a couple of other vets, who were also unable to help, we called Medivet. They were able to help and told us to bring her straight over. The whole of our family joined as this was our kids childhood dog, they grew up together. Medivet showed us so much compassion as they gently sent Daisy on her last journey and let us stay with her as long as we wanted afterwards. I cannot thank you enough.

The vet was amazing. Spent lots of time explaining things to me and was very nice to my dog. The receptionists were also very friendly. However, communication from the surgery is very poor. I have emailed and messaged via the website many times and got no response when trying to book an appointment. Also, I was given the wrong prescription which would have left my dog vulnerable to illnesses had I not checked and taken the wrong medicine back. There was no apology. Please reply to my messages before I need to cancel my membership and find another surgery. Edit: all my messages were ignored and I had to leave and find another vet.

I brought in my cat in an emergency when I couldn't get him to his own vet in time. They saved his life! I couldn't be more grateful to the wonderful vets at this practice. Thank you so much for giving my boy a second chance.

They did a good job of understanding my brother who was special needs. As for assessing the dog which had mass tumour growths nothing could of been done at all. RIP SNUGGLES

Stupidly one of our first times at the vets, went in feeling very guilty about it especially after our other cat passed suddenly 2 weeks ago. This was also mentioned during our appointment and the vet was extremely kind and caring towards us. Offered kind words at the end of the appointment too. Went in for healthcare plan and a cat cough from our other cat. Vet was very knowledgeable and explained everything. Very gentle and patient with our girl. Receptionists were extremely helpful, kind and spoke to us. Again, even about our other cat who had passed away. One even spoke to our daughter about our cat which for me was the extra mile. All signed up for healthcare plan, got everything we needed and the reassurance we hoped for too. Very highly recommend this place. Thankyou so much.
