The Harrogate Vet - Leeds Road

The best vets in Harrogate & the only ones I will use. Recently moved my pets over from another vet the Harrogate vet were incredible from start to finish. We truly felt listened to every single appointment, no concerns were overlooked and they went above and beyond every single time, while advising us the best way to move forward and keep costs affordable. The care and love they showed to my dog, was like nothing we’ve ever experienced with a vet. Every time I rang, or went in they would ask after him. Unfortunately it was too late for my dog, but in his final weeks they did everything they could to keep him happy and comfortable, while also taking care of us, whether that was offering us a coffee and a listening ear, or advice/ a chat via the phone. Even now he’s gone we are still feeling their love with flowers and a card arriving at our door. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for your pets and will be continuing to visit with my other ones and any future pets. They really do go above and beyond.

Amazing experience today! Came to see our old vet Shaun who we used many moons ago and trust for a second opinion and from start to finish I finally felt like we were being listened too in regards to our dogs health and hopefully with the right plan for her moving forward we will have a happy puppy. Due to the amazing experience both our dogs are now registered here! Even got offered a drink while waiting so that was a nice touch 😊 The ladies at the front desk were both also very lovely, thank you ☺️

Outstanding care from the entire team at Harrogate Vets. From the moment you walk through the door, you are met with professionalism, warmth and genuine compassion. Every member of staff takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes what can often be a stressful situation feel calm and manageable. The clinical expertise is exceptional, but what truly sets them apart is how much they care. They treat your pet as if it were their own and never make you feel rushed. Communication is thorough, follow up is prompt and you always feel fully supported. Thank you from Betty the dog I would not hesitate to recommend Harrogate Vets to anyone looking for first class veterinary care.

I would definitely recommend this practice. I was booked in with Joanne and have seen her before with my 16-year-old dog. She is incredibly kind, compassionate, and attentive, always taking the time to listen and understand my dogs’ needs. Her level of care is exceptional, and she is without a doubt one of the nicest vets I’ve ever come across. The rest of the team are always very welcoming. It’s also helpful having the two practices for convenience as well.

We had to have our beautiful Springer, Dottie put to sleep yesterday and Sean(?) the Vet couldn’t have been kinder. He explained he thought we were making the right decision and had never seen a 15 year old Springer. Also let us know every step of the procedure as we said goodbye to our beautiful girl. The ladies on the reception were exceptional too. Thank you all. John and Veronica Pawson

V. Prompt (was fortunate to get in within 2 hrs. Of phoning up.) Receptionist was friendly attentive and keen to engage you, and your pet with treats. Dog's water bowl was full and conveniently placed under the receptionist desk by the entrance. Vet Shaun was knowledgeable Inc. about herbal remedies, warm and approachable, immediately befriending my dog and putting her at ease. A highly recommended practice.
