The service provided by Vet Dentist was excellent. They were incredibly thorough, taking the time to talk us through the procedure and the medications they would use. They took very good care of our dog, Margaux, who is an anxious dog at the best of times! After the procedure was done, they gave us a very detailed overview of the procedure, which included X-rays and before and after pictures, and were very clear about next steps in terms of after care and ongoing dental hygiene. Thank you to Bob and the team :)

My dog, Dogric Woofindor, had to attend here for a root canal and capping of a lower fractured canine . First class service from start to finish - keeping me fully informed at every step of the process and the explanation at the end of what had been done and why was extremely interesting and informative. We are due back in August for follow up radiography and I feel confident leaving my floofy wolf in their care .

I opted to bring my cat to the Vet Dentist after she developed new dental issues, as they did an amazing job sorting out my dog’s fractured tooth a couple of years ago. I’m so glad that we travelled the two hours to bring her here, as it turned into a complicated procedure with multiple extractions. Bob was brilliant at explaining everything, and was extremely reassuring. I was very happy that my cat would have the best possible care whilst in the clinic (despite her spicy personality!), and she was sent home with plenty of pain relief and clear post-op care instructions. Thanks so much to everyone at the Vet Dentist from the Rodgers’ (including Freckles, who is already well on the mend!)

As soon as the appointment had been made and the confirmation email together with an explanatory/informative video, had been received, we felt some of our apprehension diminish. We would still rather she not had to undergo any proceedure, but as this was inevitable, we felt that she was going to be in good hands. Post surgery, the viewing of X Rays and a comprehensive hand over process meant that we were able to understand what she had to go though and more importantly, why. We were given everything necessary to ensure she was as comfortable as possible until her 7 day post opp with our own vet. Thankfully, she is thriving. We would like to thank George and the rest of the team for being compassionate and patient throughout the process. we would not hesitate to use again and recommend the services of Vet Dentist.

From the very first contact, communication was excellent. Everything was clearly explained, and the emails were very helpful, including videos of the facilities, which was really reassuring. All of the staff were extremely friendly and professional, and it was clear they were very competent. The vet took the time to explain the procedure beforehand and also clearly went through exactly what had been done afterwards. Roo was obviously very well cared for and was bright and comfortable when we picked her up, which meant a lot to us. The aftercare instructions were also clear and easy to follow. We’re very grateful for the level of care and would highly recommend this vet dentist.

We were referred to 'The Vet Dentist in Harrogate' due to our dog, Molly, experiencing issues with her jaw and teeth. From the very first referral through to the end of the treatment process, everything was explained clearly and thoroughly, which gave us so much confidence in the care she was receiving. We were incredibly happy with the level of care and treatment provided for Molly. Everything felt genuinely personalised to her needs, and it was clear that her wellbeing was always the priority. A special mention must go to 'Nicola on reception', who was attentive, supportive, and always ready to help with any questions we had. 'Vet George' was professional, reassuring, and clear in his explanations, which really helped us understand each step of Molly’s treatment. We would also like to extend a big thank you to the 'veterinary nurses' who supported Molly throughout the entire process—their kindness and expertise made such a difference. We are delighted to say that Molly is recovering well, and the treatment has certainly made a noticeable, positive difference to her. Highly recommended!

We were referred to Vetdentist due to changes in Poppy's behaviour which suggested oral/dental pain. We asked for the referral so that any needed work could be completed at the same time as investigations, reducing the number of anaesthetics. It was a LONG day - four hours of driving, and a long wait whilst investigations were completed. It was very much worth the effort, and waiting. Poppy was in the care of George Lovin. George was very thoughtful clinically; clearly incredibly experienced, and explained what would happen, and potential outcomes/scenarios. He was also kind and patient, and adaptable to Poppy's needs. She's an anxious rescue, who is a bite risk when very scared - and unfortunately has lots of health issues so has lots of vet involvement. George kept things as relaxed as possible, and we were able to stay with Poppy after her sedative in a quiet room, until she was asleep. This vastly reduced her stress, (and also my worries about her feeling the need to get her teeth out) and allowed the sedative to take effect well. I then muzzled her with her own familiar muzzle before the nurse carried her through. The nurses we met were also lovely and kind, as was Nicola. When we collected Poppy, George went through all the imaging with us really thoroughly, and explained his interventions clearly. We would absolutely recommend VetDentist, the whole experience has been really positive, from the initial contact with Nicola, to her discharge. We are today managing the emotional fallout for Poppy from yesterday's appointment, but that would have been a whole lot worse with a less accommodating and supportive vet. Thank you very very much, from Lynda, Nick and Poppydog.
