We took our pup, Taco, in multiple times over the past week as unfortunately she became unwell and had pancreatitis. She was seen very quickly each time I called (asked to bring her in straight away!) and each time staff were friendly, and listened to all our concerns. They advised different treatment options and gave us reassurances throughout as well as answering any and all questions. Taco had to stay in for rehydration and staff explained how we can receive care if needed over bank holiday weekend as well as booking in a check up for after the weekend. This has allowed us to discuss her long term care and again ensure she is recovering well. Despite having multiple appointments, we did not have to pay any consultation fees due to Taco having a vet plan in place, this has also been useful over the years for all her vaccines, wormers and any other concerns. Taco is thankfully on the mend and feeling a lot better! Dr Rosie, Dr Lennon, Nurse Karen and all the staff took such great care of her!

Amity really lives up to its reputation as the best in Devon. I spent about £140 during my visit today with my kitten burtie, and the transparency in their pricing and the depth of the consultation was refreshing. They explain everything so clearly and you can tell they genuinely love the animals. If you want a vet that treats your pet like family and doesn't rush the process, this is the place to go.

I visited Amity Vets today and took my cat Bertie and spent £140 for my pet's treatment. While vet bills are never 'cheap,' I felt I got incredible value here. Unlike other practices that rush you in and out, the 30-minute appointment gave us plenty of time to discuss everything without feeling pressured. The staff are exceptionally kind and the atmosphere is so calming. It’s clear they prioritize the pet’s well-being over just getting through a list of patients. Highly recommend Dr. Lennon and the team!

We honestly couldn’t ask for better care for our two dogs than we receive at Amity Vets. Every visit, whether routine or when we’re worried about something, they provide such excellent, thorough care and always take the time to answer any concerns — both in appointments and over the phone. Nothing ever feels rushed, and you truly feel listened to and supported as a pet owner. The £26 monthly membership is worth its weight in gold. It completely takes away the worry around vaccinations, check-ups and general health concerns, giving real peace of mind throughout the year. Knowing those essentials are covered makes such a difference. The little thoughtful touches mean so much too — the doggy Christmas presents, sweets, and even the warm hand towels at appointments. When you’re already anxious about your pet, those small comforts make the whole experience far more reassuring. The customer service is genuinely outstanding. We feel very lucky to have such a caring, professional and compassionate team looking after our dogs

We joined amity vets in September when we got a new kitten. They were absolutely fantastic. The team were so lovely, kind, caring and made understanding everything so easy. Getting a kitten was all new to us but they were incredibly helpful. They informed us about their membership, which is really handy as you get discounted price on important things such as vaccinations, annual treatments, free consultations and so much more! Which we definitely signed up to! When our kitten went in for his castration, they were again super kind and helpful about the entire process. They took a photo to reassure us the procedure went well, which made us really confident in their care for animals. Because we have the membership, our kittens microchip was a complimentary which was really handy. They honestly put so much love and care into every single treatment and appointment. When we have appointments, they always greet us with positive, warm attitudes and offer us drinks with biscuits. At the end of the appointments, they have gift bags with all of the information required, and a lot of the time we bring our son who’s little and they’re so lovely to him. They also give him a gift bag with toys and treats in. They really are such a wonderful team and have been amazing. We are extremely grateful for everything they do for us and glad we went with them. I highly recommend them to anyone with pets :)

Visited Amity Vets yesterday with my cat George. I made decision to change vet since I had a feeling that the local (bigger brand) vet hasn't been honest with me about treatment costs, and basically been using my insurance to make money. My old vet told me my cat has severe gingivitis and will need to have most his teeth out, costing me (my insurance) thousands of pounds. Dr Lennon had a look and George has only mild gingivitis and treatment is not needed. So I was right, my old vet was draining my insurance. I paid £95 for my first appointment, which included the first month payment for the health plan which I knew I would sign up because it has so many benefits like flea and worm treatments, vaccinations, unlimited vet visits and many more benefits. I must say that it was the most relaxing wonderful trip to the vet we ever had! Even George enjoyed it so much he took a nap while I was sorting paperwork. Excellent customer service and everything was explained in simple terms. From me and George, thank you Dr Lennon for reassurances and we will see you in December for booster shots.
