My first appt here was excellent. My cat received the best Wellness Check any of my previous pets have had. The Vet was super experienced and very understanding about my pet having initially asked many questions about her. Highly recommend 10/10

Visited this clinic due to them having a vet which specialises in dermatology. Otherwise we usually go to one of their other locations. However, I was very pleased with the experience I had there. The clinic itself is in very good condition, clean, pleasant to be in and isn’t overcrowded. The lady at the reception was very friendly and welcoming, the vet that we had an appointment with was very lovely, and gave good advice as well as suggested doing an allergy test possibly which was nice to hear. We were very satisfied with our appointment. If this clinic wouldn’t be so far from where we live then it would defiantly be our main clinic of attendance. Thank you for your care.

We have been with Ashgrove vets for several years now and we are delighted with their service. Fantastic and knowledgeable vets with a nurturing approach, who have always made us feel at ease. The owner is a lovely person who is always spoken highly of by staff and others there. Always feel incredibly safe and secure taking our many animals there from the regular check up to more serious incidents.

Keep calling me and asking to pay twice where I already paid for the vaccine (which I phone to ask how much it would cost, I got a cost of £54.50) - went there, turned out to be £78.33 on 29th march 2025 when I went to pay! (Ok I brushed aside thinking, consultation fee, but I could've been told through the phone. I astment bout a spot on treatment just out of curiosity then they got me a pills, which I know my dog won't take and informed it's ok she won't take them, I was just asking, then got a phone a few days later to come for pills I said I was just asking if they had a spot on treatment like advantix as I run out, wasn't a final decision, merely a question, brevecto and to pay, I said I thought I already paid for it? Then said already did. Then came in for the Breveto to collect, said to bring her, I said ok, (I have epilepsy, and autism and dealing with a lot and I'm not made of money, the last thing I require right now is this and being scammed because I'm vulnerable), then paid once again as secretary said needed to pay oh is the consult fee/brevecto + got my dog a toy for £6.29, as she was nervous, for a total of £28.38, went home and vet was nice but thought it was for them to give her the Breveto or to see if she was suitable I was like ok, I brush aside again, pay book her for her second vaccination as this manufacturer changed but I already paid so it's covered so she will be seen 4weeks which will be 26th April (from 29th march) for that second manufacturers dose, and few days later I get a call to pay and then today I get a private number early I'm morning as I wake up, didn't answer as I don't know who it is, then right now I get another call stating a consultation fee to pay of £18! I'm like listen when I come we will discuss this. Least to say, I'm stressed and I do not recommend the slightest this practice. I used them before when my dog was a baby in Aberdeen and Robson vets that was here in their place before was fantastic. I regret changing her vets from Stonehaven for these (as I'm in a wheelchair and my mum stays there and thought it was cheaper and closer when she has her) but no. They try to charge you again and again and again despite you already payed for everything. In total, toy included I paid £106.42 and they're still asking for more. Please if you have a pet, take them somewhere else. These are not worth the stress.
