We've been with BVVC for a number of years and always receive a warm welcome and supportive advice. The staff are really tentive in all circumstances which is so important when you have fury friends to look after Thank you

Well, we’re local farmers, and our farm cat, has had an issue, we turned up at the allocated time, I waited in the vehicle and my wife entered to see if they were ready to see my cat, they said “yes” so my wife came back to get me, on entering the practice, an obnoxious vet nurse? Immediately started having “a go” the last thing I need is that woman raising her voice in an aggressive manor regarding my cat in my arms wrapped in a towel not in a cat box, this is not what I, or especially my cat needs, a nervous cat may well have freaked out at the tone and aggression in her voice, then we wait for 10 minutes for them to be ready to see us! I can add the Vet who saw us was great, and the receptionist I’ve seen before has always been good, i’d say “customer service” but in essence I was very fearful for my cat, I just want nice, calm and understanding people.

I have been using this vet clinic for my various rescue cats for nearly 20 years and there have been a few amazing vets working here over the years (including the owner Christine and Tim H-R who went well above and beyond any expectations before moving to New Zealand). Although I would prefer a cats-only clinic, the closest is too far to be practical so this is the best vets in my area, particularly since it's a clinic where they exhibit care about your pets over profits. As a pet owner, they will work with you to agree the best treatment options for your loved fur baby and personal circumstances.

We changed to this vets a few months back after becoming somewhat dissatisfied with the previous ones. They have been consistently really good throughout our dogs illness and it has been so much easier to get the information we needed from them to understand what was happening. Being an independent vets we had thought they might also be cheaper but if anything the reverse has been true. However the quality of care has been so good I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
