After paying the plan for about 3 years for my two cats I was met with a very rude vet who seemed more about money than the actual care of one of my cats . He took a Urine infection after having paid a consultation fee of £45 and £46 for medication when asking for a second antibiotic they wanted a second consultation I asked for a prescription as could get cheaper medication online I was first told they did not write prescriptions ! So they broke the the rcvs code of professional conduct! Then when this was pointed out she said she wanted £16 to write a prescription . Her attitude was really bad and given that my cat had blood in his urine they showed no concern about him and more concern about the money . So changed to another vet with a better payment plan that also includes 2 consultations and 2 visits with nurse for £16.00 per month as apposed to the payment plan Cheviots offered which cost me £18.50 per cat per month with no consultations and no visits with nurse . Pretty disgusted by their whole attitude and their pure lack of concern for the animal concerned . Surely when a cat has a uti asking for a second lot of antibiotics should not have been an issue given that they had seen the cat the week before ! Again this is another example of their lack of care or concern for the animal and proves more concern about the money !
