Where to start .. my dog had bladder stones the first thing they gave him was a bowl of water waited well over an hour when only 2 outpatients were waiting and such was the lack of presence I witnessed a dog owner delivering her own puppy in the waiting area Shouting whistling and grabbing attention yielded nothing How is anyone giving them more than one star ever - emergency vet apparently - good luck with that they are clearly happy to live without urgency in an emergency Shocking behaviour

Exceptional team, professional and caring. Our dog was suddenly taken very poorly, with cancer of the bladder. From the moment Alf arrived to our final sad goodbyes everyone was attentive, sincere, and supportive. There priority was all focussed on the well being of Alf.

Great care from all the staff here, lovely candour and very informative. Our cat was nice and calm and they treated her so well, they did everything they could to help with her diagnosis, would absolutely come again. Thank you so much to the team

Referred for my boy who potentially broke his neck. They were thorough, listened, and explored all options. They rang sometimes twice a day to update us. My boy was in over new years and the staff took wonderful care of him. I would use them again if needed. Thank you Vera and Sergio for your expertise and genuine concern for our sweet sweet boy.

An emergency overnight vet named Mario who can’t even speak or understand English. I am not kidding — his English level communication is Year 8 at best. I don’t understand how you can allow a person with such basic language skills to be placed in such an important role. Absolutely unprofessional and disgraceful. And how did he even get his licence? We had to go there because our usual vets were out of hours, but I would never come again because I can’t trust someone who can’t even communicate properly and didn’t understand what I said. By the way, if you advertise a 24-hour service, you should be able to answer the door at 7:00 am without leaving people waiting in the rain after more than 10 buzzes. I hate rushing people, but this is a hospital where everyone is racing against time for life. There was also no need for the lousy attitude from your staff when the door was finally opened. I appreciate the support you gave us overnight, but I can’t forgive the unprofessional mess I experienced, which may have an even worse impact on other pet parents in the future. I am not risking my pet’s life anywhere I can’t trust. You have to be able to speak the language properly to work at a veterinary hospital. Period.

My angel Chanelle sadly had a bad accident a few months ago and fractured her spine, Sergio the vet carried out an operation to stablise her spine, as a result of the impact her neveres were damaged which meant she was paralysed in her hind legs. The whole great team.at Dovecote did their best to care for her, she recovered well and we adapted to a new life with doggy wheels, sling and me getting used to managing her bowels and bladder. However, sadly a few months later she developed an infection that spread around her body and it was in her best interest to let her go peacefully. Thank you so much to Sergio for doing the best he could and im really pleased with how proffessional and compasionate he was throughout, also the whole team were so lovely ( nurses, reception etc) and welcoming and it really shows how passionate everyone is..Truly a thriving team.. thank you all for your help, Chanelle was well loved during her time there.

Absolutely first class treatment for my boy Hugo he’s just had major surgery so early days but the whole experience has been positive and I feel he has been. In safe hands from the start hopefully he makes a full recovery but I can not fault the surgeons and staff
