We drive the extra miles to take our pets to Easipet care because their service has been outstanding. We have had our previous pets taken care of here and we also receive discount. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They show real empathy xxx

This is a review based on the appalling performance of Max and his assistant, a lady with blond hair in a bun, not on the reception staff or the other vets who are very helpful and good. This Vet, Max, has one goal and that is to sell you as much as possible and order painful tests that your dog doesn't need to bring in the extra money. Max took a grand total of 45 seconds checking my dog so he could get a repeat prescription of his VITAL thyroid medication. He wanted me to have him get an unnecessary blood test from a machine he told me was new - this new machine apparently is 100% accurate. So all the years prior when I have gotten him blood tests they aren't worth the paper they were written on then, right? Utter rubbish, I religiously used to get my pet's levels checked every 6 months under another FAMILY run surgery, results were same day and it was £35. I can detect myself now by his behaviour, weight and health - all steady with no fluctations. Many of these tests are money for old rope. I do not want him shaved and a needle stuck in him for no reason (many vets take very little care as well when they shave a massive chunk out of his neck for this privilege). Max couldn't even tell me the cost of this test but it took him 20 mins to flick through a catalogue to try to find out and sell me it in a room that could only be described like a sauna and just 45 secs physically checking my dog. Myself and my double coated Border collie were struggling in the heat of the room. He then got his sidekick to come and tell me all about this 'new' fangled machine that she still couldn't name the cost of. So I said, to be honest, I am not interested in a test this time (I also couldn't take sitting in this room any longer). So he marched out in a strop and we were left in this hot room for a further 20 minutes with no discussion about what the hell was going on - how rude and ignorant. 40 mins in this room doing nothing and he put this hands on my dog for a grand total of 45 seconds - this constitutes as a so called check up which I have to then pay for. His assistant then came into the room (as he can barely speak English - not very reassuring) to try to belittle me into getting this test or they would not provide a prescription for his VITAL meds. I asked on what basis there is cause for concern - she couldn't tell me. By law they have to tell you the cause for concern but there clearly isn't one because his health for a 14 year old dog is better than most average person's let alone a dog! They then tried to say it's because he lost a lot of weight recently - what utter nonsense. He lost a kilo because it's summer time and had more ball play, which I explained. Every year he puts winter weight on and I try to get him to lose it for the summer - all on his records and all a verifiable pattern. His weight is bang on where it should be with no change in his diet - just more exercise and less family do's where there's more food as it's not winter. Therefore, his weight is showing ZERO cause for concern and the biggest indicator of his med levels being well balanced. The assistant then accused me of getting his pet meds from elsewhere - I said you need to check the prescription you gave me last time as it was for a full year, not 6 months before you go accusing people. The way I was spoken to by both of these so called Vets was appalling and you should both be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves - there is a fine line between using the law as an indication to provide a service and exploiting it - they could be a case for extortion here. The cheek of chastising me for not getting him a test when they're saying prior ones aren't that accurate and when the VET took 45 secs providing a 'check up' on my dog. Some people have fallen so far down the moral ladder they no longer recognise their own moral hypocrisy. I will be writing to my MP to get this Vet investigated.

'Uncle' Brian and the team have been absolutely amazing with our dogs. They were really kind and sympathetic when sadly we had to say goodbye to our Charlie Boy, and have supported us with his sister, Princess Lola, who is also almost 14 years of age. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Always prompt with any questions we may have and greet us as one of the family when we arrive. Thank you all for being so wonderful ❤️

Excellent and caring vets. Have been going for a number of years now. Always amazing, from regular treatment of our cats, to 7yrs ago, unfortunately one of our girls (Amber was 22!) Went over the rainbow bridge. The vet demonstrated empathy throughout, I will never forget his kindness that day. Tuesday 5/5/26 I arrived as the shutters were opening with Kyle, one of our more recent tom cat, with a trauma to the head. Within 15 minutes (no appointment) Kyle was seen. Again, the same vet. They didn't have a CT scan there, so referred us to Abington vets in Moulton. Within an hour, the reception team at easipetcare had Kyle booked in. Just amazing professionals. Kyle spent two nights in hospital, but is now home, and healing well. Thank you to an amazing and caring team. Highly recommend 👌

Substandard service. I have been with this vet practice for over 10 years. Over the last couple of years I’ve felt that the service from one vet in particular is lacking. This was proven yesterday. I do not like to name and shame, however if you’re thinking of using this veterinary practice and see negative posts, there is a very good reason for this. You will see one vets name in particular that is brought up a lot - this vet is always available and there is a very good reason for this - I would not recommend using him under any circumstances. I am in the process of moving my dogs to another practice. Yesterday my dog hurt his nail and was bleeding slightly. Sometimes because you’re worried about your pet you don’t see the obvious when you’re in with the vet. He was prescribed antibiotics, etc but I was not given any advice on aftercare or advised that he was likely to bleed more as it seems the vet tried to remove his nail. When we returned home and my dog started walking he was dripping with blood - prior to going to the vets the bleed was very slight. So to say I was unhappy is an understatement. The main issue is I was not informed that he actually tried to remove the nail and that this could cause additional bleeding. Added to the fact that no wound care was offered or suggested. Separately too - My daughter has a puppy who she took to see this same vet about 6 weeks ago as he had an allergy and problems with his ears - the puppy was given a steroid injection and sent away. When I called to complain that the puppy wasn’t examined properly etc, I was told I would have to pay another consultation fee? My daughter moved vets and recently discovered that her puppy has a yeast infection causing the issue with his ears - they did a simple test during the appointment and he now has the correct medication to help remedy this. I wish I’d moved vets at the same time, please take this as a warning!

My review is based on one vet - Max. Reception staff would get 5 stars. I booked an appointment with a vet after my cat suddenly became very unwell. A previous blood screening visit had ruled out a lot of causes but I wanted a follow up to understand the cause as my cat’s behaviour was extremely distressing for him and myself. The appointment was the last of the day. Max did not want to be there. He didn’t want to listen to my concerns or descriptions of the issue and most apparently, he just didn’t care. A flash in the eye with his iPhone was enough to diagnose neurological issues. This was alarming to hear and I desperately wanted to understand what this meant - was there any treatment? Max turned his back for the latter half of the appointment clearly indicating he wasn’t going to do or say any more. I got an ‘I’m sorry’ as I left which I could only assume meant the worst (I had to assume after being given no clarification). I cried constantly over the following days preparing myself for the inevitable. Someone at work heard me and suggested I go to another vet (having left this vets in the past with their own issues with them). Here’s where I saw what should happen in an appointment: taking time to talk, listen, thorough examination with proper equipment (i.e.not an iPhone ) even drawing me diagrams to understand their diagnosis. Thankfully the diagnosis was very different, treatable!! I can’t express the impact this poor experience had on my life. Needless sadness and worry. If you are looking for a vet, don’t take the risk. Go to another vet.

Been using for 13 years with cat (13) and dog (12) always helpful. The staff are kind to my animals who like the staff. Prices are explained and they send text reminders for repeat prescriptions. Easy to get an appointment or repeat prescription when needed. Have over the years took cat and dog at the same time for a joint appointment and no issues. They help me keep my now senior animals healthy. Photo of my happy dog after appointment

Booked an appointment for my dog who was not herself. From what I described the vet thought it was a pyometra and reception called me to see if I could come in sooner which I did. I was seen immediately and the vet confirmed it was a pyometra. She had emergency surgery that afternoon, the vet called to say she was out of surgery and in recovery. I picked her up that evening and let her sleep it off. The next day she saw a nurse for a checkup check up, all healing well. The nurse asked to see her again in 3 days. As she was recovering very quickly I called the surgery to see if a visit was necessary. I was asked to send some images of the wound and the nurse would review. The nurse called me that afternoon and we discussed her recovery and I felt she was recovering well so wouldn't bring her back. However the nurse did say if I had any issues to call them. The service received from everyone at this practice was phenomenal for my dog and me. I can not thank you all enough for caring so much. Thoroughly recommend this practice to everyone, thank you 🥰
