LakeView Vets in Thrapston have been our vets for 16 years . They have looked after our cat, hamsters, gerbils , degus and all three of our dogs . The care and time they have given to each of our beloved pets has always been with compassion and great expertise and I would not hesitate to highly recommend them .

Really pleased with the care and attention our dog received. The staff were friendly, professional, and made both of us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The vet took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all my questions without rushing. You can tell they genuinely care about animals. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful visit much easier.”

Got my dog an appointment at very short notice, as she had an injury. The staff are lovely and friendly, educational which I like. And the costs wasn't too awful. The I saw was great 👍

I've been taking my various cats and dogs here for over 15 years now. Seen lots of different vets and nurses and everyone has been great. They may not be the cheapest and yes maybe they might be over cautious on tests that might be needed but I wouldn't go anywhere else locally. Nice reception staff and if you ring up with an emergency they are super helpful and get you in quick. Happy to giveow level advice on phone if you have a problem.

Feeling very sorry to come to this clinics, as we being told they have professional exotic VET - appeared they don't have any and have no understanding what they are doing, and their extremely not professional behavior caused shock to our rabbit recovering from paralysis and long stasis, as ...they forced him to eat 3-4 times bigger portion despite he was suffering from Stasis for 3 weeks and this sudden overfeeding could cause him shock and liver damage, and then chasing him to run despite at home he barely could move few meters and was getting tired, and ..'rabbits after being paralysed not aloud to run for at east 2 months (according Google info), as it might affect their immunity and cause another attack on nerve system'. That's what happened, as pet got paralysed in 10 min after being picked up from VET and passed away within few days. Unfortunately, VET Management doesn't see any problem in this behavior which goes against official recommendations, as ..'they did everything right to do their best to (kill) sick pet'. Not recommending this clinics

Lakeview Thrapston took our dog in after his emergency vet appointment. They performed X-rays and eventually had to operate. He came back the same day and is recovering now. The main reason for the perfect review was how human they were. They knew we might have struggled to get the thousands together to pay for our boys surgery but instead of focusing on ensuring they got paid, they made our boys health the priority. If they didn’t have that compassion we would have had to say goodbye to our baby. We had enough to pay with them getting our insurance company to pay directly in any case they were willing to make a plan with me to settle the bill. When I picked him up I was told to pay whatever I could but we had enough in any case. Thank you so much team, you saved our boy and we will forever appreciate everything you did. I was preparing myself to have to say goodbye but you saved him.

Always made very welcome by happy knowledgeable staff, the waiting area clean tidy and made useful by all the pet toys ,leads collars etc.to keep your pets happy. No problems there but the carpark and outside area could be made a little safer and colourful plus possibly a couple of seats for those with unhappy dogs.. Excellent staff with a massive knowledge and reasonable costs and charges more than makes up for it though...Just an observation not a criticism happy days.
