I was very pleased with Bella’s treatment. She is normally a very anxious cat but the vet was really gentle with her and managed to examine her and give her her yearly vaccination with no problems.I was amazed at how calm Bella behaved

I have been will Northlands vet Corby for many years and was even with Rockingham Road vets before that. I recently visited the surgery with my dog as a large fatty lump on his back leg had changed size and texture in the space of a few days. We left with more questions than we went in with and honestly the whole situation was traumatic. We you told it could be one of a number of things but when we asked what those things were we didn't get any straight answers. It's was agreed that the lump had to come off and we left to return in 5 days for an operation. Over the weekend things got worse and we made an appointment with an emergency vet. On the way there we honestly believed that when we drove home again out boy wouldn't be with us anymore. Imagine our suprise when the emergancy vet explained it was just an infection, and while the lump would still need to be removed a course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatories would start to make our boy feels better and reduce the lump making the op easier. So we paid our nearly £500 pounds for the emergancy appointment and the meds that SHOULD have been suggested at northlands, but weren't, and took our boy home to find a new vet to help him. Our boy had his op yesterday and is on the mend. But more shocking than anything I've already written is the fact that they did not care. I called and 2 occasions. Once to cancel his op and have his medical notes transferred and once to have him removed from their books so I wouldn't receive any more emails from them. On neither occasion was I asked if our boy was ok, offered any help or even asked why. No interest at all!! A small independent vet is where we'll be going from now on. Much more compassion and straight answers available..

Not long moved to the county . Our old dog has been having trouble with her legs from arthritis. Phoned Northlands vet in Kettering who were so helpful with getting her an appointment .their actual surgery was full of appointments that day, but they managed to get her to see someone at their other surgery in Corby. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We’ve now got her medication to help her. Highly recommend Northlands veterinary hospital .

We have been with Northants vets for 9 years and we have always been very satisfied, the vets have been always lovely but the latest visit was very disappointing. Our dog was seen by an elderly male vet. When he opened the door, he did not say a word, just waved at us to come in. He was obviously scared of our dog, he did not examine her properly, just listened to her heart briefly. He told us in a rude way to hold her tight. Yes, it is a German shepherd, but a very friendly German shepherd. We have never experienced such approach. People who don't like dogs should consider to choose a different job than a vet....
