Another year and Sid's annual booster and check-up. Ash Tree Vets, Desborough, is our destination. On opening the door my wife Christine and I were greeted by Sue one of the esteemed receptionists. A most polite, gentle and efficient lady. Sid was booked in and weighed. We were ready to meet the Vet......the door of he consulting room opened......there she stood and her facial expression seemed to speak: Now my dear boy come here. Sid looked, a quick sharp yap and in he went. He must have remembered this vet from last year. It was Rachel. Her questions were answered and examination completed. It was time for the injection......in it went, not where he deserved it.....backside, but at the back of the neck..... Without a doubt Rachel is an excellent vet, pretty too......not like my GP!

This is not the first time I have visited this veterinary clinic, but unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing. I have paid large amounts of money without seeing any real results, and the medications prescribed did not help my cat recover at all. What exactly am I paying for? When I receive the receipt, it only shows the total amount without any clear breakdown of the services or treatments provided, which is not acceptable for such high charges. The reception staff are very unprofessional and irresponsible. They do not explain the costs or provide any helpful information. Their attitude towards clients is poor, and at times they seem judgmental and unfriendly. Overall, I do not recommend this veterinary clinic.

Very pleased with the thorough MOT done on my Bichon, Dexter, when he went in for his annual booster jabs. It was not rushed and my questions were answered very well.
