Our King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Cora, was suffering progressively severe and frequent tonic clonic seizures over a period of 2 years. At her worst, she was cluster seizing every few hours to the point where we thought she might not survive. We consulted several highly regarded veterinary neurologists but the ever-increasing medication prescribed was having little impact and we knew we needed to find someone creative and prepared to try out of the box solutions. We came across the work of Dr Katia Marioni-Henry and discovered she practised at Fitzpatrick Referrals. From the moment we met Katia, everything was different, she read through Cora’s comprehensive history and listened to everything we said, before drawing up a flowchart of new, logical options which ultimately led to saving Cora’s life. Of course, Fitzpatrick is a team and fellow senior neurologist Marc Perez Soteras was available whenever we needed him; nothing was ever to much to help Cora, 24/7. Thanks for saving our family. I sincerely thank Fitzpatrick Referral for the care they have given to my tiny toy poodle. Two months ago, my dog suddenly started crying in pain. At first, it was suspected to be spinal cord issue, and we were treated for six weeks with medication. His situation went up and down and at last even worsened to the point where he could barely walk. We were then referred to this specialist hospital, where neurologists Nadia and Sara took over. They have been incredibly compassionate and dedicated throughout. Although MRI scans and blood tests could not identify the exact cause, they never gave up on finding possible treatment options. They continuously supported and encouraged us while exploring different approaches. During the hospitalization, they called us twice a day to provide updates and also sent videos and photos, which gave us great reassurance during a very stressful time. Although my dog has not fully recovered yet, his condition has now stabilized. I am truly grateful for their professionalism, persistence, and genuine care. They worked tirelessly to help us and were very accommodating with appointment times around our work schedules. Highly appreciate their dedication and kindness. Thank you so much♡

Following an open fracture and other complications following his injury (ulcerated eyes) Fitzpatricks treated my cat Tinker with the most exceptional level of care and attention. Surgical expertise, attentive and responsive care 24/7, and step by step management and support of his rehabilitation turned this devastating injury into a full recovery and he’s now running, jumping and playing again like nothing happened. Noel has created a fantastic practice and his whole team are outstanding.

Ended up at Fitzpatrick’s as an urgent referral for IVDD treatment for our 6 year old dachshund Reggie who underwent spinal surgery. Every aspect of the whole treatment journey has been 5*- from initial diagnosis to surgery, physio, hydrotherapy, reception team-every member of staff has been so lovely and professional and we were kept well informed at all times. I knew Reggie was in best hands and received the best treatment possible. We are now 7 weeks post surgery and he’s making a good progress. Still a way to go but I’m sure Reggie will make a full recovery. Thank you from the bottom of my heart :)

I’ve been through more surgeries than most dogs dream of biscuits, and each time, the amazing team at Fitzpatrick Referrals have given me not only a second chance, but also dignity, kindness, and a whole lot of love (and the occasional snack). From Professor Noël Fitzpatrick ,who somehow always found time to check on me, even late at night , to every nurse, physio and receptionist who treated me like I mattered, they’ve all been part of my journey. Even when things didn’t go perfectly, my mum and I always felt that I was in hands that cared as much about how I lived as how long I lived. That’s a rare kind of magic. Now, 16 weeks post-surgery, I’m back doing my physio and trying to remember how to use that leg properly. It’s a long road, but one filled with hope and that hope started at Fitzpatrick Referrals. If you’re a worried parent wondering whether there’s still light after heartbreak, I can tell you: there is. We have 'unfortunately' been referred here twice for our British Bulldog. I say unfortunately as the circumstances have been stressful, but every member of staff here are amazing. They are all experts in their fields. So knowledgeable. He had septic arthritis at 8 weeks old. He stayed with them for a week and they managed to save him from the brink of death. And then again just recently for IVDD which needed spinal surgery. The aftercare is excellent too. We've felt really supported through our dogs recovery. Moose is scared of the vets, but strangely he's happy here!

Even though, our visit comes with immense sadness and only a short period. I want to thank the team at Fitzpatrick. Finance, reception, Nadia and her neurology team. All the compassion they showed towards us and our little Lola was nothing short of lovely. I thank them so much for what they did in such a short time. Honest and respectful and very professional. I will always remember. Thank you. Rest in peace my Lola girl.
