I took my 11 year old German Shepherd to Galloway Vets today as she was really not herself. The treatment we got from Vet Kirsty was exceptional! We only holiday here so the vets don’t really know her but Kirsty could not have been more thorough. Urine tests, blood tests, bodily examination, ears washed out and examined and sent home with new medication that hopefully is going to be better than what she was on - all at a fraction of the cost we would be paying at home in the central belt. Highly recommend Kirsty and Galloway Vets and just wished we lived nearer 🐾

I had the misfortune of having to say goodbye to my bestest best friend of the last 13 years this week. And The vet and assistant Will McCarthy and Justine Smith who attended to my cat were exemplary in every respect. So Kind and caring. They Made an appalling ordeal one of grace and dignity. I Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You get the feeling that this vet prioritises the animals more than profits, which is very rare these days. The care, professionalism, friendliness, and honesty shown to us and our old dog was worthy of more than five stars. Sadly we can’t remember the name of the lovely vet who saw us, but she looked after our standard poodle, Hugo so caringly. Thank you so much.

Our dog became sick and constipated while we were on holiday in the area. The receptionist was polite and friendly when we phoned. After taking our details and talking to the vet, she called us back and gave us an immediate appointment. The vet was very professional and explained her conclusions and plan of treatment in a very friendly and straightforward manor. Everything when well and our dog recovered after a few days. Cost was very reasonable and probably a quarter of what we would have had to pay back down south. So we highly recommend this surgery.

Very friendly and helpful Vet and Staff, I was able to an appointment on the same day as ringing. Three lots of medication needed which I thought was sold at a very good price. Thank you.
