I waited a year before posting this review because I wanted to see how our wonderful pup recovered after being diagnosed with IVDD and undergoing spinal surgery. Thanks to the amazing team at Hamilton’s, he’s now back to running on the beach. From the very beginning, the care, guidance, and expertise we received were incredible. Choosing where to go for diagnosis and treatment was such a difficult decision and Hamilton’s wasn’t our closest centre, but I honestly can’t recommend Pete Smith and the team highly enough. Their skill and support truly gave our dog his life back, and we’ll always be grateful.

My 6 year old chocolate lab was sent to Hamiltons as an emergency. He had developed very sudden lameness on his front left leg and was in a lot of pain and was deteriorating fast. Despite them being so busy when we arrived, I felt Charlie was in safe hands from the moment we got there. David and his team were amazing. They diagnosed him with septic arthritis very quickly and began treatment and pain relief immediately. He had to stay there for 6 days whilst he recovered. David called every day with updates and everyone else I spoke to showed such compassion and care. David always fully explained Charlies diagnosis and treatment plan in a way that I could understand. If it wasn’t for Hamiltons, Charlie wouldn’t be with us today. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you all so much ❤️

My little boy had to have knee surgery as it kept popping out and recently he found it very difficult to naturally push it back in. We were reluctant for him to be operated on and delayed it as long as possible ... however, having now met Mr Hamilton and Thomas, we are completely confident both with the surgery and how sky will be looked after. We were put at ease by the detailed explanation given of what the surgery involves, the care Sky will receive and need, and also met with the physiotherapist, Ashleigh. I would highly recommend using Hamilton all the time where they are needed. Thank you Hamilton

My dog, Neo, underwent spinal surgery. I'm so grateful to the doctors and nurses for saving my beloved dog. He's moving his legs. He's not walking yet, but it's probably only a few days before he's back on his feet. The staff is 5-star, and I highly recommend them.Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

After collecting a scared & traumatised Ollie (rescue pooch) from a different hospital in Mar-24, my experience at Hamilton's in Sep-25 has been the total opposite, and has been absolutely outstanding and completely worlds apart from start to finish!! I collected a well cared for & happy Ollie post his IVDD surgery!! A place that truly cares!! From Reception & the Client Care Team to Neurology's Dr Pete Smith & team, to the nursing team & Ashleigh our physio and anyone else I've missed out in Ollie's journey - I seriously can't thank everyone enough - I do not have enough words to do this review justice!! We're now just over 4 months & he's absolutely thriving & loving life once again. Thank you so very much!! ✨🌟💫♥️🥰🤗🐾💖

My dog Haggis had TPLO surgery with Micheal Hamilton in 2021. He was 11 years old. I followed their protocol for recovery to the letter and Haggis has enjoyed almost five more years of being Extremely active up until not long before he had to recently cross the rainbow bridge. The surgery and care by Hamilton's vets and their team was absolutely faultless. They gave my darlin boy the capacity to run again in exactly the same way he had prior to the accident that snapped his cruciate ligament. I highly recommend them. Thank you to Hamilton's.

I highly recommend Hamilton's. If your animal is unlucky enough to need specialist care, Hamilton's is the place to be. The receptionists, the consultant, Dr David Sajik and all the staff are so friendly, professional and supportive. David was thorough in explaining what my dog would need and talking me through the process. He phoned a number of times: after surgery and when my dog was at home to check on his recovery. He was very helpful at the final, in person, post op check, taking the time to answer all my questions. Any illness, particularly surgery, for a pet is a stressful time for owner and pet but I felt confident that my dog was in the right place and getting the best care possible.

I highly recommend Hamilton Specialist vets, my male pug was referred to them due to him having tremors. They were brilliant from my first visit trying to get to the bottom of it. We did get a outcome and turns out he has an autoimmune disease within the nervous system now on medication for life. I now have my crazy dog back.
